One Dark Window- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve been searching for a page turner like this for a while! I raced through this story and there were moments I actually held my breath. I’m curious as to what’s going to happen in the second book of the duology.

Reminder to use your public library and all the resources they have it makes their numbers look good and good numbers mean the library is likely to either keep the money they are currently getting or even get more money to fund more things! Use your library!

I’m about halfway through One Dark Window and here are my thoughts so far
1. Good lord the corners of these peoples lips are constantly twitching, can we use any other descriptors??
2. Despite that this is exactly the read I’ve been looking for— a page turner, with characters I can really root for. I would’ve absolutely ate this up ten years ago.
3. The relationship between two of these characters definitely gives the book more of a YA feel. It moves rather quickly as well, in my opinion.
4. The writing isn’t necessarily poetic or spectacular, but it’s good enough and the plot really moves it forward. It’s actually refreshing to take a step back from the crazy world building of Brandon Sanderson and others and just dive right into the story.
Will update as I continue
