I like to make weird textures in Clip Studio Paint sometimes. They're really helpful for adding some spice to projects like EXIST or for my own illustrations. I use them so much, that I want other people to be able to use them too. Especially if you're into 𝕤𝕦𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝/w̵͘ͅe̶̙͐̏ȉ̸͓̘͂r̸̹͚̐d̵̦͠c̸̙̫͌ơ̵̳͇̍r̸̡̅̏ę̷̥̇ aesthetics. You are more than welcome to take/save/reuse any textures you find on this blog for your own backgrounds/games/comics/whatever. All I ask is if you feel so inclined to, give me a shout out!! I also give you a BLOOD OATH that not a single one of these textures are made using generative A.I. Demon Sisters

They reeeaalllyy hate each other. Like a lot.

When compared to humans, the one on the right is THE DEMON, but compared to other demons, she is more like a tiny little angry gremlin. I find that dynamic fun, and is probably why she can relate to humans more than her own kind. Also the pentagram tattoos are now canonically how my demon race shows pacts with other beings. The more powerful you are the more pacts you can handle. Also the more popular of a demon you are, the more likely you're to have multiple.

I'm also glad people weighed in on the color palettes, because I would have never thought of a lot of this if people didn't support my doodles, so THANK YOU if you did!!! ( ; v ; ) 👍

Longer Version: I have been sorta doodling this demon character on and off for about a year. She will most likely be getting some sort of comic in the near future. If anyone has checked out my sketch blog (@finntheartist-sketchbook), you would have seen her before. During the summer I was experimenting with color palettes, and threw some options out to friends/followers for feedback:

These 3 ended up being the most popular. The whole point of her character/story, is to reluctantly assume the role of big sister/guardian to a human kid who summons her. Because she isn't the most powerful demon, until she can be unbound to the summoning circle, she is stuck to him. She tries to get out through demonic loop holes, but ends up realizing the reason he summoned her was just because he wanted someone to talk to. She realizes how neglectful his situation is, and it stirs something inside her, so she sticks around to look after the kid. She is supposed to be a standard demon who by all means should NEVER be ANYONE'S role model. The whole point was to have her be the classic asshole, stuck-up, edgy demon, and then show how that is not only wrong, but literally the opposite of who she is. But because people really loved the more traditional colored succubus (pink/white) palette, it got me thinking... Now she has a sister (one who genetically avoided goat legs, the actual nerve). I imagine that while it would be fun to have the older sister be sweet (as a twist), I think I'm going to go with the idea that in private, she is the biggest asshole ever. It really adds a lot of value for the gremlin one to have her color palette now. I don't know what I'm going to do with the most popular one (the blue one). Maybe she looks like that when she is upset? Or maybe I'll just store it in my back pocket. If anyone has any ideas for these two, feel free to toss them over!!

One Page Comic (I)

I’ve been dabbling with one pages comics, in which i try to show either a full story or a glimpse at a potential story. This one was fun to make, as you can kinda read it twice.

i would love people to tell me where they think it should go/what they would do!!

CONTEXT:

In the past there used to be an incredible and fair boxer. She rose quickly in the ranks and crushed opponents stronger/bigger than her with charisma and skill. Unfortunately as time went on, she started to gain enemies. The boxing syndicate disliked the fact she wouldn’t throw matches. They were losing tons of revenue because of her, and sought to get rid of her.

Eventually the syndicate funded a boxing robot that could easily outbox any human boxer, and set up a title match with the champ. And even though the robot broke all kinds of rules, in which the champ could easily have had the match thrown out, she did not. She wanted to prove stunts like this robot couldn’t beat human skill and passion. Unfortunately during the match, the robot began to learn her moves and increase its deadly force, and she was not only knocked out, but died from heart trauma to the chest on the final hit.

Decades later, boxing has fundamentally changed. When the champ died, so did boxing as we knew it. And so when on a field trip to the invention museum (roll with me) a little fuckhead cat is told the tale of the former champs defeat, getting to see both her boxing gloves and the robot/its remote on display. He gets really upset seeing how cool she was until the end, and how unfair the match was, and when no one is looking steals the remote and runs towards the time machine exhibit. He turns it on (it is literally a rusty time machine wannabe, but it somehow works for the first time ever) and teleports to before the match.

The champ asks him what does he want, in which he panics and tries to explain that he’s from the future, and the match is going to end poorly. He shows her the remote and says she can use it to turn off the robot, but she just smiles and pushes the remote away. She explains she doesn’t want to win by cheating like how they are. And that if she gives it her all and loses she won’t have any regrets. She thanks him though for caring about her, and says she wishes more of the boxing world was like him.

She then walks down the hallway towards the fight.

(what happens next is unknown. What would you do if you were the cat?)
