This whole broken notifications nonsense is gonna force us all closer together, honestly. If we want to continue on with our writing we’re gonna have to get real comfortable approaching one another to ask if our replies came through, or to tell each other we’ve posted. Just putting it out there now, I absolutely 100% do not mind if you come asking, especially now, when nobody knows what’s going on.

- - - - - UPDATE.

I have no idea how Endy ( @makimodo / @ventteux ) is doing currently, but here’s what we know so far:

Endy is not in a good place as of now. The last message she posted before deactivating her account was a suicide note.

A friend of mine has been talking to her on Discord but she stopped responding at 6:37 PM.

Her mom has her phone; she wasn’t supposed to be online. Said friend, the last person we know to have been in contact with her, said that she was reluctant to message on Discord and eventually stopped responding —— Endy’s mom may have read the messages. 

which means that with both accounts deactivated and a phone linked to Discord, she currently has no means of contacting any of us.

Please keep spreading the love for Endy; keep letting her know how important she is to us. Please keep offering her your support.

Until we have more information, please believe in her.

And Endy —— smart, brillant, beautiful, radiant Endy — please don’t give up. You’re strong, you’re wonderful, you’ll make it through this.

PS:      There is one account Endy hasn’t deactivated, @reginalfa. If anyone wishes to send her something ( esp. with Discord out of the question ), I would recommend it to be there.

      she poked her head out of the bushes she stood in before she climbed out, a grey, orange and black colored calico cat in her arms. a frown was on her face as she reached up to pick leaves out of her hair. she blinked down at Tama, a sigh slipping out. “how did you even get outside...?”

without realizing it, she had bumped into someone (a familiar someone at that) and she looked up. “...oh; hi. sorry about that. he got out again.”

things that kill me: akiko giving her friends nicknames that seem cute to her (an example is that she calls her brother kenji ‘ken’ or ‘ji’ )

      the moment she heard his footsteps (they HAD to be his; he was the only one who'd walk that way that she knew of) she attempted (and failed) to press herself into the wall she was leaning on. but if anything; that made him spot her right away. before he could say anything, a frown made it's way onto her face. she was roughed up, that much was true; she was in slight pain as she moved away from him. 

"so whadd're you doin in this part of town? dont'cha gotta go study or some shit excuse?"

she couldnt help but hope that he wouldn't ask why she looked like shit.

im thinking about it and-- akiko wouldn't want to go on the trip because since it's just her and her brother, she'd rather use the money towards something else. so she’d probably look at tokoyami like ‘get me a dumb souvenir and it’ll be fine’

okay so- i’ve waited long enough; here’s a starter call! capping around 8 - 10 and lengths will vary!

A smol headcanon dump: 

- her mom's prohero name was Dragoness (the scales she had was a bit more obvious than the ones that Akiko has, so she figured since she has the scales and dragon breath that she’d roll with it) and her mom was 6'3″ (ironic since Akiko is so short; her brother Kenji got the tol genes) - her mother was killed due to a few factors: she overused dragon breath while on a mission. she was in the middle of helping fight off an enemy when she began to feel the effects of overusing her quirk. she was too concentrated on fending off the villain while the other proheroes she was working with helped the innocents get away. she was killed when she was coughing too much and the villain used that moment to take advantage of her weakness.  - Akiko didn’t learn the exact specifics of how her mom died until after she moved out to live with her brother. It’s a contributing factor of why she is sometimes dislikes her own quirk. - Akiko and her brother have a cat named Tama (and she affectionately calls him Tama-Chan) - Akiko's brother works at a nearby ramen shop and also is a part-time college student - her brother calls her Aki. the only other people besides him that might is those that Akiko feels comfortable with / around. (like close friends) - her father is a sensitive topic for her. not just because of the way he treated her since her mother’s death, but since he did attempt to physically hit her (and succeed a few times) and since he was verbally awful to her, she dislikes talking about him unless she’s comfortable to do so. her brother wasn’t aware of how their father treated her until the day he intervened and got hit. - her father is a well-known business owner. his business makes and sells accessories that help pro-heroes. the name of the buisness is tba (if you have an idea pls feel free to tell me) and this is another reason why Akiko isn’t too keen on being a pro-hero. (she has a theory that their dad began to use their mother after a point to advertise for his company)
