Not sure if I mentioned this before.. but this (my art booth) is my happy place. Once a month, I get to bring all my handmade goods, pins & illustrations to the local Artswalk and share it with the local art loving community. It’s a lot of set up, but the reward is like no other and it trumps all the likes on social media. I get to interact with people as they see my art. I get to see the random giggles that certain illustration’s will bring them. Or the excitement on someone’s face when they see something they relate with or can’t leave my booth without. I get to see familiar faces who come back to my booth month after month and some even wearing my goods. There really isn’t a greater feeling for me as an artist than getting that interaction. It’s like a creative charge or a reinforcement that everything I’m doing is for a reason. Not sure what took me so long to get the wheels going and putting my personal art out there, but I’m glad it did and I can’t wait to see how much further we can take this thing. Big thanks to anyone who has supported my art in any way. So many fun pictures from todays excursion on my phone, figured a pic dump was due. Made our way down to Miami before we head back to the west coast and checked out the @wynwoodwallsofficial. Got to see some incredible works by some crazy talented street artists. I’ve really enjoyed following some of these artists throughout the years and seeing their pieces in different cities but this collection was on another level.
