Coral (who is referred to as Crona, but will be called Coral due to her love of marine life) is our protag. Sad yet content with the life she has right now. Has her best friend who she's recently gained feelings for, and wishes to share her feelings with. However, her close friend (who shall be referred to as Emma for now) was killed by a devil and her body being taken by another.

Heartbroken and rotten with grief, her manager was understanding and let her take a few days off to collect herself after all of what happened.

Usually, Emma would always be there to comfort Coral when times for her were tough, but… she's not there… not anymore… Coral doesn't know what to do right now. Her apartment is a mess, she's a mess, just wants to sleep through the rest of her life and never go out again. All the stress she had bottled up is very slowly yet roughly bursting out. She cant figure out why everything just went so completely downhill, why cant she figure it out why WHY WHY WH-

DING DONG!!

Who could that be…? Coral wasn't expecting anyone to visit… Coral reluctantly gets up, messy hair, tear stains down her face and her blanket covering herself up and gets the door. She didn't really think about checking the peep hole in her door so she slowly opens the door with the expectation of seeing nothi-

"Salutations madam!"

Coral took a moment, blinks a few times… and shuts the door to gather her thoughts.. Is.. that.. a fiend.. on Coral's doorstep… Coral then looked through the peephole this time, its still there. Standing there, rather politely, but this fiend looks.. an awful lot like..

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

Coral opened the door slowly again with uncertainty "Hello! Its quite a pleasure to meet you ma'am! My i make an offer to yo-" the door shuts on it again "This…. CAN'T.. be real…" Coral muttered to herself, then opened the door once again "May i conti-" door shuts again while Coral mutters to herself "nope nope no no no", but is stopped by a boot going in between the door and the frame.

Coral was caught off guard and backed up, now with her blanket on the floor, grabbed a table leg she has near the door for in case of an intruder "WHAT DO YOU WANT.."

The fiend stepped inside the apartment with a distinguished stance "i am here to make a rather simple deal with you! From what info i have gathered, you have quite the attachment to this individual, therefore gaining my interest" the fiend proceeds to point to the more human side of it

"I do find it quite rude to shut the door several times on a poor sales person, BUT i shall make my pitch!" Coral stood there in confusion.

"I am the Business Devil! My only duty on this planet is to make deals and satisfy my customers! I am not like most devils, however. I do not wish to seek harm in the humanity of humans, but would rather aid them in what ever tasks they wish to be completed!" Coral stood there with absolutely disbelief as to what she's hearing "oh..kayyyyy,,, but why are you.. approaching me???" Coral asked while table leg is still in hands.

"My but look you my dear! An absolute mess! Someone who needs to get their life together!" Coral flinched at the word 'dear' and immediately felt unnerved. "Ok first off, rude. Second, dont call me 'dear'. Thirdly, what do you want with me"

The fiend took one more step forward and looked as if it was beinging to go into a bow "My offer, you tell me to do what ever bidding you wish me to do. IN RETURN, i stay living with you to have a home to be in rather then be on the streets for a devil hunter to come snipe me down" it then extends its floating red hand out, opening for a handshake "do we have a deal? I do assure you that this is no contract, for i am no longer full devil, so a sales deal is all it will be!"

Coral thinks on this… maybe a bit too much given the situation she's in, maybe, and only maybe is she considering.. because the fiend.. is her…. On one hand, she has no clue what this fiend could do if she's says no. On the other hand, it would feel like she has her friend again,, but just slightly different, and too different as well… is this some form of stockholm syndrome or something? "Fine…" Coral reluctantly, yet consciously reached to shake the fiends hand, sealing the deal. "You wont regret it!"

here are the designs i came up with while trying to follow the provided sketches from the og post! (apologies for both of them having their hands in pockets i had no idea what to do for posing)

i see their dynamic as close friends that REALLY got eachothers backs, both helping eachother for when their in a tough mental state, with them also working in 9-5 jobs

as said Emma usually comforts Crona when shes not doing well, and Crona absolutely adores her

both had also sprouted feelings for eachother but sadly will never get to have that because well... errmmm....

and here are what i hc to be their current designs further in the story ive thought up, the coral comes in a bit later on after ENA arrives

from the og post, i do like to think the devil causing this is referred to as the Coral Devil. Strives off of overbuilt stress and feeds on it, causing the host to become overwhelmed, but,,, this ones a bit of a different situation..

the Business Devil (or fiend in this sense) is a well mannered devil and strives off of human resources to help itself, as well as helping and assisting those it offers its serveries to. it adjusts its own behavior to compliment its clients to build a better bond with them, although this one may be a bit tricky

the red side is the fiends appearance side, the human side is well, literally Emma's drooling face, but still talks when its 'meanie' side talks, aka the more unprofessional side, the side that would most defiantly curse you out, but also has a lot more emotion compared to the fiendish red side.

the Coral Beast (this thing was SSOOOOO FUN TO DRAW UGUHGHUGUGU)

something that feels like it should be related to weapon devils but isnt..

capable of shooting out spikes of coral, and even surging it though her arms and making a wave of coral to stab her enemy.

however, stress and anxiety can overtake her and cause her to go into a frenzy and attack whatever is in front of her OR run off and hide around a field of coral she grows around, then slowly breaking away going back to normal after a period of time.
