Concept: conservationist metroidvania where the only way to get the best ending is to avoid killing any of the endangered local wildlife, which gets progressively harder throughout the game because each mobility upgrade creates new ways to accidentally explode critters.

In Mario & Luigi: Brothership, it is possible to bypass Mario and Luigi's disguises being detected during an endgame segment on Offandon Island by activating the pipe warp menu on a specific frame. This has the unintended effect of spawning two copies each of Bowser Jr. and his friend Buddy: one pair prepared to do a cutscene and one simply sitting around as regular NPCs.

Top: in the cutscene, one set of Bowser Jr. and Buddy play out the scene while the other sit in the background. Note them being visible in multiple camera angles.

Bottom: after the cutscene concludes, all four of them can be talked to and respond correctly, without taking any notice of the other set.
