The Backstory

My name is Louis. I was born in England, however I grew up in Switzerland. I spent 2013 in Norway as an exchange student. Long story short: I fell in love with the country and found a new place to call home. My current life is a sort of limbo between Norway and Switzerland. Both places are home.

In late July this year, I set off to Norway for two weeks armed with my camera. I spent that time travelling around the country and taking pictures.

These pictures will be published in "Nordic Summer", the first instalment of Fjord Magazine, along with pictures taken by 4 other young photographers.

I have been a one-man-company for this project. I am covering everything including design, editing, production, sales and advertising.

I've always wanted to do something like this. Opportunity finally arose this year! In order to graduate my school, I have to commit to a large scale project and then write a paper about it. Fjord Magazine is the result of my project. The magazine is almost finished and the website is up, hopefully it will open for pre-orders soon.
