Artwork created using Procreate. My second assignment for my "Drawing for Moving Image" class. We were tasked with creating a character design based upon a friend or classmate, and making a reference sheet, pose sheet, expressions sheet and "hero pose" illustration for our design. My design is based on my friend, the lovely fairy.serum_, who you can find over on Instagram!

Animated Film ▪︎ 2024 University Assignment Work
Assets created with Procreate & Photoshop, Animated using After Effects. The second assignment for my “Digital Storytelling” class. We were tasked with creating a short animated film, using audio from a poem, from a selection of predetermined options. We were also required to have at least once instance of a "3D space" used for the animation.
The poem I chose was "Sword Maiden" by Michelle Pickford, which I ended up choosing to reinterpret as a love story of sorts, with the implication being that the poem we here is a twisted retelling of the true events, which the animation depicts.

Flour Sack Character Animation ▪︎ 2024 University Assignment Work
Animated using Toon Boom Harmony! My third assignment for my "Principles of Animation" class. We were tasked with creating a 15 second long animation of a flour sack character doing a simple task, and I chose to have him put on a hat! Originally, I did not want to have him kick the bucket as a result, but it made the storytelling and posing stronger in the long run.
