Yugi turned to look at him, emotion in his eyes for a moment before he nodded and rolled over to tuck against his chest. "Okay. It's a deal then. If you promise to not hate me when you see how broken I truly am," he murmured with a soft chuckle.

"I could NEVER EVER hate you, Yugi." He murmurs kissing the top of his head and wrapping his arm around Yugi as he held him close.

His eyes stayed up on the stars but he let out a soft laugh. "You and I are a lot alike. I... Haven't exactly been a shining example. I'm sorry for that... I also tend to pull away, isolate, feel sorry for myself when the doubt gets too loud. When the thoughts that I don't deserve this, you, get suffocating. But I don't want to bother anyone, I'm the positive force, the heart, so I'm not allowed to feel this way. If I give in to depression then what good am I? So I get it."

"You can lean on me too, you know? I am always here for you too. If you need to let it out around me you can." He says as he looks at him, "We can be there for each other and if we both need to let it out at the same time we can hold each other and comfort each other."

"Then… You give yourself time to process. To be small. To cry and wallow. And then you pick yourself up, an you try again. That's all we can do in this world. And, hopefully, when we try again, we'll have learned from our previous mistakes."

He laced their fingers together in return and squeezed once more. "Okay. Maybe, I should let out my emotions when I know nobody can see me." He hums softly, deep in thought. He wasn't used to letting his emotions go just like that. It was just something that was wired in his brain to not show any emotions. It was how his body ran.
