Tim smiled and nodded, squeezing her hand. "That sounds good." He said, pressing a kiss against her hand.
Tim took a deep breath, standing in front of Sasha's office. How do you tell your best friend, that you are turning into an avatar that feeds on senseless destruction? This sucked.
He knocked on the door, "Sasha? Can I.. uhm.. come and talk about something?" He said, his heart pounding in his chest. Immediately cringing at himself for how unlike himself he sounded.
“Yeah of course!” She replied immediately, looking up as the door opened. “What’s going on?”

Tim smiled at the mention of her punching him in the face, he could definitely see that happening.
Then he heard those words, 'I love you..'
It didn't sound the same way as they normally said it. "I.. love you too.." he said softly, swallowing thickly.

Tim nodded softly. "I'm just.. I don't want to hurt you. I basically just forced a statement down Jon's throat. I've been saying things I don't mean, all because the.. useless destruction of things.. including the bonds with the people I care about." He took Sasha's hand, it was definitely above the average temperature, but luckily not hot enough to burn. "I just don't want that to happen with you."

"I didn't want to hurt you, Sasha.." Tim said, looking up at Sasha with tears beginning to form. "I have been.. destroying things!.. and my skin is becoming.. so hot, I put a burn mark on my desk- I'm scared!.. sorry.."

"I'm turning into.. uhm.. something, and I hate it." He said, looking down at his own hands. "I did something pretty awful.. and I didn't want to hurt you, so I.. I started to avoid you."

Tim took a deep breath before actually looking at her. "Y'know how I.. exploded? Like I should be dead." He started. "I'm.. starting to.. understand why i'm not dead."

Tim couldn't help but chuckle a little awkwardly. "Yeah well.. It's not you, it's me.. God- what am I saying?" He sighed and put his hand on his face, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I sound like Martin."
He sat down before her desk, "Okay.." he wiped his hands on his trousers. "I'm not sure where to start.. uhm.."

Tim walked in, closing the door behind him. His face was slightly flushed and he felt stupidly sweaty. Whether it was from nerves, the desolation, or both? He couldn't decide.
"I uhm.. I have been avoiding you." He said, "And I want to tell you why."

He smiled slightly, "Thanks.. I'll go back to work and.. try to build up the courage to talk to Sasha." He said with a deep breath, it was still slightly shaky but a weight was lifted off Tim's shoulders.
He got up, "Let me know if you need help with.. anything." He said before starting to head out.
Tim was in front of Jonathan's office. This wasn't something he wanted to talk about, but he had to. He felt like he was losing his mind. He knocked on the door, opening it slower then his normal barging in.
"Boss.. do you have a moment?" He asked trying to sound as nonchalant as normal.
"Tim.. yes of course. Come in. What do you need?"

"I didn't, not at first. I still hate that thing," he nods to the tape recorder. "But who am I to judge at this point? And I know.. you.. aren't a bad person. You aren't.. a monster Jon. Even with a lack of humanity. I don't think you're a monster."

He smiled a little, "Yeah well.. I hope you're right." He took a deep breath before looking at Jon. "Thank you, Jon. And I'm sorry.. for the shit I gave you about this." He meant it, he truly meant it. This wasn't an apology like he did last time just to get it over with. Tim was genuinely remorseful about the things he used to say.

"I.. I haven't told her, because I don't want to hurt her." Tim said softly, "In all truth, I am terrified that she is going to hate me. But you're.. probably right."

Tim nodded a little. "I knew you would get it.. I- I haven't even talked to Sasha about it." He said with something like a scoff. "Do you know how fucked up something must be for me to not talk to Sasha?" He said, trying somewhat to smile.
"I.. won't be able to ignore this. I know that.. but i don't know what to do.."

Tim sniffled as he tried to wipe his face, "I'm sorry. I-.. sorry." He mumbled. Why did he do that? He just forced that story onto Jon.
Was it the hope that maybe Jon would hate him? Maybe he hoped to finally be fired.. no. It was the idea that maybe it would break something. Break trust, a friendship, anything.
"I don't know how to stop it.." he said unable to look Jon in the eyes. This wasn't the Tim he knew, Tim here was riddled with disgust and self-loathing. A far cry from the usual grinning bastard.

Tim looked at the tape recorder with a glare, he hated this. He hated this feeling of the information being pulled out of him. But he needed to speak about it. Tim couldn't tell whether it was from Jon's compelling or his own admission anymore. "It started with the explosion.. I should've died. Let's be honest here. I know we tried to spin a lot of bullshit, but I should've been blown up into pieces. However, I am alive." He swallowed thickly before continuing. "I've been stupidly fascinated with fire lately.. I keep staring into it, hoping it spreads somehow.. I have always managed to shake it off until.." his lip trembled and he looked away.
"I was walking home when I heard a bunch of sirens. It wasn't too far from my flat, but I could tell it was safe for me to go home.. yet, I didn't. It was as if a hunger overtook me, and suddenly I was starving. I barely even registered that was walking and then I saw it.." Tim was looking ahead, almost looking through Jon as though all he could see were those flames again.
"The poor family outside. The flames engulving and destroying everything in its wake..their house. It was... magnificent." He let out a shaky breath.
"I feel awful about it but I.. laughed. I fucking laughed. The view was so.. mesmerising. Then I turned to the family. The terror on their faces, there was a little girl standing there. Screaming and wailing for her cat, I heard it.. i heard it agonizing screech of pain and burn before it became silent."
"When I saw the fire fighters trying to put out the fire i felt.. rage. Genuine rage. Why would they want to stop this? Couldn't they feel its warmth?.. its welcoming heat." Silent tears fell down Tim's face. "They went inside. I could hear the cracking of the house.. it was going to collapse." His face was flushed, his skin slightly shining with sweat.
"I managed to force myself to go home.. I didn't sleep. I felt full, satisfied somehow- and I hated it. When I went to work the next day, I walked past.. the building had collapsed. And I caught myself smiling, thinking.. what a shame it had been, that this was the only building affected.." Tim seemed to zone back to reality almost. Looking at Jon with a horrified expression. "..Jon, I'm a monster.."
