Giovanni rolled his eyes at the clear lack of respect the other had for him--honestly, who could blame him, after Giovanni had barged into his factor uninvited and the other didn't have the slightest clue who he was. It was mildly forgivable to the man. Still, he had a feeling this would be difficult.

Tilting his head with a small, somewhat forced smile as the other revealed that no, he was the one in charge...well, fine then. That meant Giovanni had less searching to do. He seemed to be about to speak, right when the Honchkrow on his shoulders seemed to try to swerve towards Thorton, raising its wings and preparing to divebomb. Giovanni let out a few colourful curses, anchoring the bird back to his shoulder with his hand before it could do anything stupid.

"Idiotic bird." It was a useful pokemon, providing it actually wanted to be. Unfortunately, it had a much more independent mind than other pokemon. Giovanni hadn't let it out of its pokeball recently, which offered an explanation as to why it was acting so agitated. In hindsight, this was not the best time to unleash it. "I'm interested in some of the technology to be found here."

Giovanni watched with wide eyes as Proton stalked past, his scowl seeming to be almost permenantly plastered on his face, gritting his teeth as the idiot literally put his ass on his desk and knocked over paper he had actually spent hours organizing.

"What the fuck is that supposed to--oh."

  "How the hell wouldn’t I know that, sir?” Proton spat back, a tone of mocking in his voice. He adopted something of a cruel grin and slipped by the larger male to take a seat on his desk, purposefully kicking a stack of paperwork to the ground.

"Take a hint, sir.”

Even Giovanni had to admit that he hadn't really chosen the best fight. The only person who seemed to be completely immune to Proton's bouts of rage was Ariana; not even Giovanni wanted to make him angry, at times.

But he was steadily abandoning his logic here.

He stared down at the other, jet-black eyes full of intense anger. "What the hell would you know about that?"

"I do not look at Archer that way. Just because you’re jealous of the attention doesn’t mean you have to make things up.” Giovanni had an amused sneer to go with his own words.
