Update! Everything should be fixed (as far as I can tell), and I had a nice trip down memory lane revisiting all the spicy comics and doodles that I've drawn in the past 5 years! Thanks again anon for letting me know, and if anyone notices anything I missed or something that breaks in the future just shoot me a message and I'll do my best to fix it as quickly as possible! The timelapse gif from "The Oath" tapestry!

I finally wised up and made myself an outline brush one to save time…only for the overall complexity of the piece to quadruple from my previous two. Every frame is ~15-30 minutes of work, so it only took slightly less time to make than an actual embroidery would have done.

"The Oath" I spent hours creating this illustrated tapestry for the Champion Chapter 2 Cover, but we only got to see a small corner of it. Here is the entire piece for you to enjoy. It will all make sense eventually.

Welp, I might not have managed to snag a 3rd Emmy win (this year…) but I did manage to catch a quick sketch of the very bizarre and beautiful Bowmouth Guitarfish (and the Blacktip Reef Shark and the Unicornfish) at the Seattle Aquarium! (These guys are also called ‘Shark Rays’ and which is highly appropriate because they look for all the world as if someone took the back half of a shark and grafted it onto a ray.)

Fun fact: Coloring is probably my least favorite part of the page-making process, simply because my open-ended loose inking style makes flatting a bit of a tedious nightmare, so it’s always nice to be able to reward myself with some narratively-symbolic color choices on pages like these! (To that end, I wonder if folks would be interested in a post about the color symbology in this chapter once we’ve wrapped?) Champion Chapter 2 Page 24 is up! I had the great honor of illustrating a cover for ‘Smolder’, a gay erotic short story/novelette by a friend of mine in honor of the 7th anniversary of its publication date. I would highly recommend giving it a read! If you like the sort of works and themes that I have historically done in my own comics you will definitely enjoy this one, and you would be supporting a really sweet gay writer while doing so!
