“Really? Your bloody tea?” Flint shook his head. “That must not be a first around here.”
“I was going to clean that up,” Bell said, waving to the broken mug on the floor. “I just had to take a moment to recover from the horror of losing my tea.”

“No, not without using magic.” Flint answered bluntly. He had been reading in the Slytherin common room for most of the day and he was beginning to get irritated with his boredom.
Scorpius had been folding and creating paper planes for the last hour. His thoughts were racing a hundred miles per hour and he knew it was properly his own fault for not taking the right potions and medication for his bipolar aka, the pain in scorpius’s head. However, he looked at the person who had seemed to be watching him for the last hour. “What? never seen someone make a paper plane?” He asked, floating a paper plane in the direction of the person.

“Doesn’t give you a reason to be so bloody noisy either.”
“Or give you a reason to be so rude.”

“Very familiar in fact, I used to be one of those distractions, remember?” Octavia teased, “What’s it supposed to be?” She then asked, pointing to the canvas.
“How could I manage to forget that one?” Flint laughed. “It’s suppose to symbolize how mad love is. It’s abstract though, so i guess it’s really what you want it to be.”

“I could probably say a longer period of time but it hasn’t all been bad I suppose.”
“Well, what’s been troubling you?” He paused, “You don’t have to tell me though, if it makes you uncomfortable.”

“Monopoly? Tell me more, I’ve never heard much of it.”

“i do. i’d say the color stains on my clothes back that theory up,” she chuckled. “i like it. maybe it needs some more….color? or maybe it just needs more you in it. that’s up to you,” she advised. “sure,” she added, pulling out her sketchbook.
Flint laughed to himself, looking at Rose closely observing the stains she mentioned. “Well that is something else,” His attention went back on focusing on his art, thinking about her words. Color? Flint never really enjoyed vibrant colors, but rather calm colors that made a statement in his art. “Maybe, I think I have to keep thinking. It’ll come to me.”

Roxanne stumbled backwards hearing the other’s voice. She had been lost in time trying to figure out where she had put her necklace. “Oh? Me?” She paused. “Well, I have seemed to misplace my necklace.”
“Why are you behind the bookshelf?” Elias asked with a raise of his eyebrows as he grabbed a book.

“Oh, how lovely,” Octavia said, approaching the blond, “A new masterpiece. When’s the exhibition, Skeeter?” She teased.
“Ahh, very funny” Flint sighed at the other. “i am trying to distract myself, sometime I know you’re familiar with”

“I’m sorry,” Alice replied, “That was rude. I’m not having the best of days. Best of weeks really.”
“Weeks? Now that sounds quite terrible,” looking up from his as he spoke ever so slightly.

rose gave him a genuine smile and nodded. “sure. i mean from one artist to another you are good,” she told him. “yeah? how do you think you’re doing?” she asked him, looking down at the piece. “i was working on the black lake earlier.”
“ohh, you consider yourself an artist as well, what’s your medium?” flint smiled, while looking back at it. “i kind of find myself enjoying it, but I think it’s missing something and i don’t know what.” he sighed. “i’d love to see some of your work sometime.”

“Well you should’ve told me that to begin with,” she replied. “I just need to take pictures for an art piece.”
“Well, I didn’t want to let you down.” Flint put his hand on her shoulder. “I’m here now. So what’s your idea?”

“Well, what do you have so far?”
“Nothing. I’ve literally been staring at this piece of paper thinking of ideas how to get out of it for an hour when I could of just gotten it done in that time.” Flint groaned.

“A dilemma? Sounds interesting,” Brett smiled. She shrugged. “I don’t know, I finished my homework and I was bored.”
“It was rather dramatic actually. He needs to calm down. Not everything is the end of the world.” Flint sighed. “Well, I am pleased to be here to help you with that. Any ideas?”

“That would be because I am the epitome of a true Slytherin.” She laughed as well, watching him as he thought. Her eyebrows raised at his suggestion but she nodded. “Alright. Let me go and get my cloak though, it’s freezing outside.” Lalita moved quickly up to her dorm to get it, meeting him in the common room again. “After you.”
“I’ve noticed.” Flint joked, standing up from his seat on the couch. He nodded before watching Lalita leave to her room. “I think the fresh air will be good for both of us. Reawake the mind on this dull afternoon.”

rose got curious when she saw him doing a piece of art. she always liked talking to other artists, the conversation with alice still fresh in her brain. “hey you’re pretty good.”
Flint snapped out of his own daydream that was consumed my concreting on his artwork when he heard Rose. “Oh, uhh... thanks.” He smiled awkwardly. Flint tried to seem confident in most aspects of his life, but his artwork was personal, and that made it hard to. “I’ve been trying to abstractly capture a fireplace.”
