Recently I met a doll who was about to detransition and move back to her transphobic parents, I'm so glad I've met her because I've been able to wrap her up in the most loving and supportive community of dolls I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. This girl has been through so much and now we are able to give her some reprieve. Last night we took her out to a bar for an unofficial Tranny Tuesday and she told us she had never seen so many trans women in her entire life. We helped her make friends (and make out ;3) with some lovely ladies and just showed her a good time in general. On our way to drop her off at home she cries and tells us that it had been the best night of her life and that she never thought something like this could happen to her. It breaks my heart to know she felt this way but I'm so so so happy to have given that to her. My roommate and I tell her that this will just be the first of many such lovely nights and she will always be loved and welcome with us here.

I don't know where I'm going with this I've just been moved deeply by my community and this girls journey to get here and I felt like I had to share. This is why community is so important. I know it's not always easy to find but find community if you can, it can your life.
