When Valiena finds the bug, it is hiding in the shade, trying to escape the warmth of the season. It is happy to go with him. When the girl sees Frosmoth, her eyes seem to sparkle. "It's so pretty!" The boy whistles. "It's so small. It's really cool, but I think you need this." Valiena gets a weakness policy.

It takes a moment before Volo falls into the dunk tank! The attendant is giggling too much to offer Volo much more than a towel.

Hilbert found a durant trying to hide from the local Heatmor. It's happy to go along with you. The kids back off. "Hey, we said find cool Pokemon, not this!" The boy tries to kick durant, but falls on his face.

The girl laughs. "I like durant though! Here!" She hands Hilbert some old amber. "It's cool like this!"

((Thank you everyone for participating in this event! It was great fun to plan and pull off. Seeing everyone's interest in the event really helped me see this through to the end.

I hope to do other events with you all in the future. Also a big thanks to @evoblue and @team-mavericks! Without your motivating words and willingness to test and make suggestions, this wouldn't have happened.

I’m glad everyone had fun! I wasn’t as available as I wanted to be during the event, but I still loved seeing everyone’s asks and commentaries. I loved being a part of this both as mod and as a friend. Watching everyone’s creativity, their misfortune, their phenomenal luck, Psy using me to test the google doc like a Guinea pig only to cause an additional ending that only Gatz would end up getting stuck at that I don’t think anyone else found, it was genuinely awesome. Thanks for playing along, and I hope to do this again at some point! I don’t know what all to say, I don’t know what the other Thank You letters looks like, how long is theirs? The pressure is crushing, help.

Lucas doesn't get much time to wait! He is unceremoniously dropped into the water, getting soaked! He's offered a towel of his choice of color or pattern.

There's a lot of people perturbed by the random things happening around town. And the flashes of pink, yellow, or blue don't help until a series of bubbles fill the town square. Appearing on the three largest bubbles are Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie. They use their Psychic Powers to push together the other bubbles to make a fluffy buneary.

The giant bubble hops up, popping in the sky! Various people who watched the spectacle cheer! With that done, the trio leave, returning to the wild.

Who knows if they'll appear next time?

Hilbert is immediately dropped into the water! It is cold! The attendant is giggling at how quickly he fell in, too much to offer revenge, but still offers Hilbert his choice in towels.

🌷 + 5... Svern, the bug nerd, patrols the area using his encylopaedic knowledge of bugs to locate and observe them. He's content to watch many without disturbing them, but he remembers he gave his word to those kids (and of course he will share the Joy of Bugs with budding enthusiasts), so he eventually looks for one to approach.

This bug looked so lost, Svern is able to bonk it from behind and take back this new buggy friend. Upon presenting it to the kids, they are confused.

"Hey, what'dya do to that Volcarona? It looks pretty sad." The boy pokes it. "It doesn't want to fly." More poking ensues.

The girl is hiding behind Svern. "I think it's scary. Volcarona make different noises. H-here." She shoves into their hands a pair of heavy duty boots.

The battle was fought hard and fought well! Guzzlord was powered by hatred over Gatz and being unable to eat him, but they couldn't stand a chance against such a barrage of strong attacks. It's aura disbursed and it's body collapsed. Now's the chance to catch it! Balls fly and silence fills the air as they all drop in the same spot. But which one was it? One of them starts moving. Shake... Shake... Click!

LUCAS ( @timebranded ) CAUGHT A GUZZLORD!

"My, my. Interesting how the world works out. Good work. If it makes you feel better, I did not abandon you." Gatz snaps his fingers and all of his pokemon came from out of the forest, having them completely surrounded. Even Sableye hops out from Gatz' cloak with a smile and wave to the others. "I've fought Tiny many times. They are quite determined. I tried many times to just convince it to leave me alone, but alas... It's will is stronger than mine in that aspect. If you failed to subdue it, I would have protected all of you. But I'm glad you didn't need my help after all. Lucas. Perhaps you can mend it's heart. Show it more to life than killing for sport. And I'm sure you'll find something in them worth calling a friend."

Raiden fires off the shot! And Valerie is dunked right away! The attendant is giggling, offering Valerie a towel and a free revenge dunk.

Gatz' "After Party"

Gatz finds a clearing in a forest, just out of the way from other Trainers to wander in. He sends the coordinates to the pagers he gave to Asteria, Celeste, Lucas and Svern. When they all arrive, Gatz has them stand an equal distance from each other in a square pattern, then Gatz goes to stand in the middle.

"Maverick Hunters. Welcome. As you know, my name is Gatz. A little something about me before we start. I am a man of precision. My actions may not be swift, but they are deliberate. I operate with a plan in mind, and when something doesn't fit in my plan, I remove it. But I've had a persistent problem, and the most I could do is put it on ice." Gatz reaches into his jacket and pulls out a strange cube. The casing of the cube is metal and has 4 red lights on the top, but the content can be seen from the outside. It's a pokeball, cryogenically frozen. He places it down where he stands and begins walking away.

"I think you'd agree that any fate is better than the one I have chosen for it. So you four are responsible for its' future. You will have to fight. And if none of you can subdue it, I will take care of it... permanently." Gatz now stands at a further distance, smirking as he waits to watch everything unfold. "Get your triggers ready, everyone must hit the button at the same time. Good luck to all of you."

When all buttons are pressed, the lights turn green and steam shoots out the corners as it begins melting the cube of ice. The moment that the Pokeball was uncovered, the light in it's center glowed red and resumed its' original action of trying to catch whatever is inside... and breaks loose, destroying the casing and revealing a terrifying figure in the smoke. It roars, dispelling the smoke that surrounds it...

It spots Gatz and becomes enraged! Guzzlord's aura has flared up in hatred, sharpy raising it's stats! Now is the time for ACTION!

Steven actually falls into the booth trying to grab a rubber Ducklett, but he gets it! But upon turning it over, he realizes... There is nothing on the bottom. The attendant starts cleaning up and points Steven to the rubber Duckletts he can pick from to build up his collection.

And nothing. Even after a minute, the platform refuses to budge. N didn't hit the target hard enough it seems! Hilda is free to go!

Svern tries their best to grab a duck, almost falling into the ducklett river! But at last, they manage to grab a duck! But upon turning it over, they discover nothing. The attendant offers Svern a new rubber ducklett.
