Small kindnesses

The next week or two is a steady management of supplies and regrouping of a sense of normalcy. And it’s filled with more of Molly’s small kindnesses. At first Caleb takes little note of them, as they begin to repeat themselves as patterns, he begins to grow suspicious of Molly’s intentions. But slowly, very, very slowly, suspicion gives way to genuine gratitude when time proves Molly has no ill will.
