I’ll have to take a pause on studying in Chinese because I started to prepare for the Turkish uni exam but looking back I’m quite satisfied with how long I’ve come with it!!

I think toy doctors are so nice actually like i remember being a little heartbroken kid when one of my beloved stuffed animals got old and torn up and my mom just threw him out. And i know what it would have meant to me, to have someone lovingly stitch him back up instead so i could love him just a little longer. And I'm really glad there are little kids out there who get to see pictures of their stuffed animals and dolls with little fake hospital beds and casts as they "rest & heal" before returning to them good as new. Like what a sweet thing to do with your life.

a mother is singing her baby a lullaby for the first time, a shelter cat is going home with an excited family, a kid is starting the first pages of what will be their favorite book series, a couple in a long engagement is finally having their wedding, a gardener is stepping outside to see their produce flourishing and almost ready to be picked, a father is becoming a grandfather eager to hold his new little love, a teenager is putting the keys into their first car, someone is moving on from a break up and walking past a place they used to go with their ex without feeling an ache, a patient is taking their first steps forward after a long surgery, a child is getting all giddy with anticipation for their birthday party

because life all around us is beautiful even though there is chaos and sorrow that can often overshadow it.

women on here will read hundreds of pages of terrible books and poetry and essays just to find the few out of context lines that make sense when joined by other media they consumed and then theyll even arrange it like a careful florist n add some art to it that fits with the theme . like thank you God i love you all so much for it

You ever sit there doing something with your hands, listening to a podcast or audiobook or something, and suddenly realise that's your natural state to be. This is what you're supposed to be doing, crafting something nice while listening to another human's speech and thoughts. How people have done this for as long as there's been people, from crafting arrow heads from rocks while listening to grandma tell the tale of the mammoth hunt, to having a friend read aloud from a book while you're all fixing horse reins and doing needlework, to you sitting there doing whatever you're doing, with youtube open on the background.

The office is closed today so I am catching up on my life admin stuff and I’m going to start Christmas shopping today! I’m literally so excited, it is my reward for doing the things I’ve been putting off!

i literally do not understand people who dont say thank you to people who hold the door like that person wasted a few seconds of their life for you that they wiill never get back they probably couldve drank a few more sips of their favorite drink, read a few more lines of their favorite book, had a few more good words with their best friend and they wasted those seconds on you you piece of shit next time someone holds the door say thank you i am so mad

sunday is just i have to set my computer on fire i have to do laundry i have to find god i have to make tea i have to quit my job and start a new life in a different state i have to be more honest with the people around me i have to clean my room i have to cut my hair i have to be more deliberate with my hobbies and downtime i have to make a doctors appointment i have to go back to therapy i have to start dating i have to make more friends i have to go on a long drive i have to spend 4 hours disassociating in a target i have to paint my nails i have to tell my mother i love her. but instead i will simply sit.

much like the way the Italians exported pizza and the Americans ruined/perfected it for the Italians to import it back again and then re-export the “authentic” product back to America, so the British took tea from Asia and ruined/perfected it by adding milk and sugar then Asia took that and ruined/perfected it by adding tapioca bubbles and even more sugar and exported it back again.
