Your writing is absolutely wicked. You broke my heart over and over with “Whisper of Broken things” and “screaming of Shattered Beings”. Yet made me inexplicably laugh at the beautiful masterpiece that was Arthur and Alfie being forced to play a married couple! “A Fate That Befell Me” ought to be a peaky treasure. Thank you for being here 🖤
Oh my god, thank you 🥺 I had so much fun writing all of them, I'm glad you liked them. I definitely made myself cry multiple times with Whisper of Broken Things, and Screaming Of Shattered Beings, I had to keep taking breaks because I hurt myself.
I definitely need to finish that Arthur/Alfie series one day, and honestly this just gave me the motivation to do it, so fingers crossed it holds out. I'll tag you if/when I do!
(this made my entire day, it doesn't even matter what happens now, I'm gonna be riding this high for the next 5-7 business days)

Katniss: It’s not your job to cheer me up.
Peeta: Yes, it is. Cheering you up is my job.
Katniss: Well then you’re fired.
Peeta: You can’t fire me, I’m union, bitch.

Caracalla: who is your favourite gladiator?
Geta: obviously its the one who rides rhinos
Caracalla: that's such a basic fucking bitch answer
Geta: oh you wanna real answer brother?
Geta: a guy who recited a poem and bit a monkey
Caracalla:...
Geta: look it up. that's my favourite gladiator

I know that it wasn't really important to the overall plot of any of the books (aside from tbosas because that was before he became involved as far as I remember) but I'm not getting the answers about Plutarch that I need
What exactly does he know that kept him alive and unharmed for all that time?
It can't be a case of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer, because that's not what Snow does, we know this.
Can't be that Plutarch wasn't replaceable, because they replaced him immediately after the rescue.
Can't be that it's because Plutarch's family was well-known, because we know that it's nothing for Snow to arrange for an "accident" to happen.
Can't be that it's because Plutarch is the only one that knows the truth behind the "bad oysters" or whatever it was, because I can't imagine Snow leaving the only one that knows about it alive.
On top of that, Snow knows that Haymitch drank the milk, so he knows that Plutarch looked him right in the face and lied, so there's no way Snow trusted him after that, and lets be honest that man has never trusted anyone in his life that wasn't his family (and even then we know what happens there) at the very least Snow knows that Plutarch lied to save Haymitch, and after everything that happens there's no way he didn't suspect Plutarch of being involved
But somehow, while everyone else gets punished for trying to defy him in various horrible ways, as far as we know none of that ever happens to Plutarch, he just keeps on as he has been. Even when the reveal happens in the original trilogy, he never mentions anything that alludes to Snow going the threatening his family route, or that he got any negative repercussions at all, and I'm assuming he'd at least reference it if he had as a way to reassure Katniss that he's on their side when she's suspicious of him, but he doesn't.
So what the fuck does he know that's kept him alive and away from Snow's wrath this entire time? Because it's got to be something BIG.
#i suppose it could be that snow kept him around because he knew Plutarch was with the rebels#so he could monitor him and see if the rebels were preparing to make a move#but that makes no sense either because if thats the case it didnt even work#and if snow was watching him to keep an eye on the rebels why monitor him for so long#instead of just waiting to see how they communicate and then following it back#anyway I'll be thinking about this for the next ten years tha ks#sunrise on the reaping#sunrise on the reaping spoilers#sotr spoilers#thg sotr#plutarch heavensbee#coriolanus snow

loved the cameos and all the relatives mentioned and the new ones we hadn't heard of before
absolutely adored that there was zero mention of even one Hawthorne
She said "Gale who?" and honestly, respect.

Actually Captain Jack Harkness is SO important. During a time when we couldn't get a single queer on screen in most shows and even those few we did get ended up dead 90% of the time, he was not only openly bisexual, he was openly bisexual and LITERALLY unable to die.
