Just stumbled upon a fan drawing of little Tian blowing on little She Li's injured hand to comfort him. As a reference to that childhood flashback of She Li digging the dirt, I think.
Now I wonder what the story would've been like had the two of them met during that period and what would've been the whole She Li - Mo Guan Shan - He Tian dynamics since She Li and He Tian showcase some similarities of character.
#19 days#old xian#he tian#she li#mo guan shan#there could be a friendship#she li would definitely be less f-ed up#but would still be an a-hole

💫He Tian having murdered a moron who dared to be rude to his little Mo during his work hours.💫
or
He Tian trying to get Mo jealous. The oblivious guy getting too handsy. Little Mo committing a murder and setting He Tian up for it so that he "knows better than to do something that stupid the next time".👿🖤
Anyways... Mo will definitely be there in the court room like:

Tian: Am I going too far?
Mo: No, no, no. You went too far about seven hours ago. Now you're going to prison.

19 days characters as Greek Gods
(part 2.)
He Cheng - Dionysos
God of wine and drunkenness, celebration and festivity, but also madness and frenzy. Not our typical Dionysos, I know. At the same time, there is something poetic about He Cheng being associated with celebration and festivity. He probably does have to both attend and organize many receptions.
Symbols: Grapes, panthers and leopards, the wine cup, the ivy wreath.
King Midas once wished for everything that he touched to turn into gold and Dionysos granted him the wish. The old man couldn't eat, or drink, or touch people around him, so he had to beg for the gift to be taken back eventually, and isn't it just so He Cheng?
Qiu - Ariadne
The daughter of Crete King Minos, falls in love with Theseus and helps him out of the Minotaur labyrinth in return for marrying her. The brat escapes the maze and dumps her on an island. She feels betrayed and starts crying herself to sleep at nights (imagine what she must have looked like after that). Then one day she wakes up to see a young man (Dionysus) gazing at her. He had spotted Ariadne on the beach and was enchanted by her beauty, instantly fell in love, and when Ariadne woke up, he asked her why she was so sad about losing a faithless mortal when she could be his wife. She accepted Dionysus as her husband, and also found out that he was a god. They had a happy marriage and had many children together.
Xiao Hui - Iris
Goddess of the Rainbow, Messenger of the Gods. Pretty sure her title is self explanatory - the girl did us nothing but good with her letters. She was the one who blessed us with He Tian's makeup. The Rainbow thing... she is the patron of our gays.
She Li - Ananke
Primordial goddess of necessity, compulsion and inevitability. Emerged self-formed at the dawn of creation (no one really asked you to do that, She Li). Beyond the reach of the younger gods whose fates she was sometimes said to control.

No one asked but I'm obsessed, so here we are. 19 days characters as Greek Gods (part 1.)
Mo Guan Shan - Hades
King and God of the Underworld. Can't imagine a better fitting character. Dealing with the dead and lost souls requires much more compassion and empathy than dealing with the living. Totally underappreciated.
He Tian - Persephone
Queen of the Underworld and goddess of spring growth. Charming, sweet, tempting He Tian, who helps his lover curse the souls of the dead when necessary.
Mr He - Demeter
Goddess of the harvest and agriculture. Mother of Persephone. The madwoman decided that the whole planet should starve because her child moved out and got a lover, so she threw a fit, killed the crops, and withered all vegetation.
Jian Yi - Hebe
Goddess of eternal youth, prime of life, and forgiveness. Had been the Gods' cupbearer before marrying Heracles - served nectar and ambrosia (the word has been linked to a possible Proto-Indo-European translation related to immortality, undying, and lifeforce). So the little cinnamon roll literally keeps everyone alive.
Zhan Zheng Xi - Heracles
I mean, the grand hero who gained his place on Mount Olympus. Champion of the weak and a great protector. Hardworking, brave, strong, a little daring... you know the rest.
Buzzcut - Charon
Of course he has to be someone from the Underworld. The ferryman of Hades who carries souls of the newly deceased across the river Styx. Might take a coin for his services (death is expensive, after all).
Zhan Zi Qian - Hestia
Goddess of the Hearth and Domesticity. Petitioned to remain a virgin, never leaves her home and represents domesticity and family. Her symbols are fruit, oil, wine, and one-year-old cows and I thing it's just cute.

With how much everyone kept saying that He Tian wanted Mo Guan Shan to be the rich kid in the skit and sort of switch places with him, don't you think that the skit reflects how Tian feels about his life to some extent.
The way how a fake father and a morally grey character (He Cheng perhaps?) decide his future and he is tied up and has no say in the matter whatsoever. How they try to deceive each other while throwing him like a sack of potatoes and using money as a leverage. The father also acts sick/disabled and tries to do business by exploiting family connections.
Or maybe the morally grey character depicts Guan Shan how Tian sees him: opposing his father, rejecting wealth and the rich, vocal about his beliefs and walking away as a winner at the end. And still, even then He Tian can't really talk to him either.
I think the skit is supposed to let Guan Shan into Tian's world without actually forcing him to do so. He gives him an opportunity and just as He Tian expected, Mo Guan Shan is too overwhelmed by it.
I may be overreacting and/or overanalysing but these are my thoughts, babes

I wish that ao3 had an option to filter warnings (and tbh certain authors) out like I will never ever want to read it and just seeing it puts me off so much that often I end up closing my browser because that content upsets me so much lmao
