Backstory of this photo: The closest place to stay nesr Salinas Grandes is Purmamarca, a beautiful little town surrounded by colorful mountains. It's around 70 km away so you can easily take a half day trip to Salinas from there. However, there are no regular bus services so you can only get there by a taxi or 👍. Guess what we did. 😄 We were so lucky to be picked up by a beautiful Argentinian family. They drove us trough the most beautiful mountain road to Salinas (I'll upload some videos and pics 😉), took crazy photos like this one and even bought us lunch! I've always wanted to visit Uyuni salt flats in Bolivia but I was not sure whether it's going to be possible due to the lack of time and money. 🔹 I was so stoked to find out that there are similar salt flats in North Argentina - Salinas Grandes! 💙 🔹 Now I'm not that sad about not going to Uyuni. 😊 (at Salinas Grandes)

Hello, guys! I'm back from a trip through North Argentina. What a journey it has been! Over the following weeks (or months - I have so many!) I'll be sharing pictures of the places we've seen - Iguazu falls, Great salt lakes, colorful mountains of Humahuaca region, indigenous community of Iruya and San Isidro, canyonlike landscapes of Cafayate, gorgeous waterfalls of Rio Colorado. Seriously, I cannot believe how mesmerizing North Argentina really really is. The South is so much more well known but I hope that over the following weeks I'll convince you to add these places to your bucket list. 🇦🇷♥️ (at Salinas Grandes)

I am so excited to be setting off on a trip to Iguazu falls (Argentina and Brasil) and to the north of Argentina. 🐒🐒🐒 I'll be spending my days in the jungle, in the mountains, in the dessert so probably I won't be as active on IG. 🌵🌵🌵 Let me know if you have any recommendations for visiting the regions of Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán and Cordoba! ❤️
