I’ve been saying to @sailorfailures for literally YEARS that I wanted to draw the girls (I was literally about to say scouts, my inner 12 year old purist is screaming) referenced from an actual 90s fashion editorial thing, and I finally did it. Because Naoko always had such a good eye for fashion and it seemed natural to put the - I’m gonna say it!! - scouts in that vibe. Also the personalities of the original models were too on point even though it’s literally the same 3 girls superimposed?! This totally started out as a joke/fun thing and then I got a little carried away…
