“only til i clock out,” molly reminds him as she hikes her bag up her shoulder, turning to face him where he stands in the doorway of the back of the club. she wasn’t sure what had possessed her to confide in her boss. a desire to rid herself of the weight on her chest before she got back around her brother, perhaps. either way, she’d confessed the source of her stress, an ex who had told her she needed to choose between him and the club and hadn’t liked it when the answer wasn’t him. the relationship was no great loss to her, but the continued harassment of said ex was starting to wear on her. but that still didn’t make it jason’s problem.
