is Already Home the unreleased song of one direction about Taylor too? It parallels Snow On The Beach a little in some parts.

Already home is one of the songs that Harry wrote in writing sessions with Danny McDaid and Gary Go. Harry met Johnny through Ed, and they were together with Taylor the night Johnny met his wife Courtney Cox at her house. That was in August 2013. Johnny said they had written a lot together. None of it was used for the band, I think it was Harry honing is craft, maybe thinking about what he’d release if/when he went solo.

I think it was always solo, because it was registered in ASCAP the day one direction ended and he signed with Jeff Azoff. He registered a heap of songs that he wrote during the band but presumably never intended for it. Many leaked in April 2022 including already home.

I do think it of it as being about Taylor because of their connection with Johnny and time period of late 2013 - 2015.

The lyrics also remind me of treacherous and style:

Already home “Together we’re alone, both of us agreeing / No one needs to know / You don’t have to go, but you’re already leaving”

Treacherous: “Two headlights shine through the sleepless night / And I will get you, and get you alone […]And I will follow you, follow you home”

Are we absolutely certain that the olivia tattoo was for OW? When did he get it? It never seemed that serious with OW though. Like he was definitely totally infatuated with her at the beginning. But then he did spend most of their time on tour, later there were blinds about Harry cheating and kissing someone else? If we knew when exactly he got it done it would make more sense. For all we know it could be for the cat lmao. But seriously, if it's for OW I wonder if he'd cover it some day

It’s seriously his most talked about tattoo now. I do think he got it for her because he wanted it to work. It didn’t. I don’t think he will cover or change it, I feel like there is a life lesson in that for him.

my greatest ick of Harry is he stayed "friends" with Kendall after everything that her and her family did to Taylor, after everything she went through bc of that goddamn family.

Firstly, we don’t know any of them or their relationships.

The only thing we know is Haylor dated 4 years earlier and they were 1 year into not being seen talking for 6 years. So I guess if we go with canon.. they were generally considered to be not on speaking terms at the time whereas he was possibly still dating Kendall when Kanye released famous. The Kardashians are represented by and close to the Azoff’s, who also represent Harry, so to a degree the time was very like that. In which case the Azoff’s and Harry both putting out press that it was unfair is very supportive.

Or it could we go with a rather common fan theory that Harry and Taylor had dated much more recently than 2012, possibly even a time line that looks like:

February - Harry and Kendall break up

April - Harry and Taylor hook up then Harry goes to France to shoot Dunkirk

June - Taylor and Calvin break up,

July - snake call leaked, the Azoff’s support her and an article that Harry thinks it unfair- 3 days later Kendall got involved by posting ‘tea time’

August - Taylor hooks up with Tom Hiddleston

September - Harry has dinner twice with Kendall, no photos.’

November - Harry goes to Kendall’s birthday party and Kanye’s concert the next day. Whatever happened they stopped seeing each other: in 9 years since they’ve been seen 4 times together.

December - rumour Harry and Taylor seen together

So I guess either:

Harry and Taylor hadn’t spoken in 4 years so his manager and him putting out articles is nice then drifted from Kendall after she shaded Taylor, or

All three did something to hurt another due to a slight they perceived.

It was a time for them all, which was so salacious we’re talking about it 9 years on.

It is actually so funny how you and your anons show how much of harries you are and only care about Taylor to insert yourself in her songs to make it all about harry. The constant jabs about her success and wanting harry to bring her down a notch. I have to give it to you guys, you are subtle but I know it hurts you that she is so much more successful than your precious Harry. The way how Haylor is superior because Harry doesn't want to be seen in her concert or near her but secretly convey his love to her through dumb twitter accounts seems very mature indeed. You are no better than maylors and gaylors. Calling Joe as PR says everything I need to know about your group. Crack theory about TS 12 - the Stevie poem says “she was on the way to the stars when he lost her” and she’s been doing all the stars lyrics/merch - maybe she started this album around the time of the Stevie poem and has had some concept in mind for a while. This is her “superstar” era. Hopefully with an expectation date because she gets really annoying when she is this popular.

I think that’s a fan theory to justify him having a tattoo for a relationship they think was fake. Personally I think he really did want it to work but it didn’t last.

Do you think Taylor mixed muses in TTPD? I mean, within the same song. Now I feel like it’s harder for me to tell if a song is about Harry because Matty kind of gets in the way, even though there are some I’m pretty sure about. If so, do you think she did it to hurt him or to protect him?

Taylor has been writing composite characters for a long time, probably since Red. The John and Jake thing is the clearest example. She was around John Mayer for ages, dated him on and off, then dated Jake for seven weeks. They were the same age, same build, same hair colour, even similar names, and now All Too Well is considered to be about Jake. Meanwhile John, (who Jessica Simpson wrote a book about what a narcissist love bomber he is), walks away mostly untouched. Jake is still hated by Swifties to this day, and constantly says people don’t understand.

I think about that a lot with Matty and Harry. Matty is Wario to Harry’s Mario. Faith to Harry’s Buffy. Blur to Harry’s Oasis. (The 1975 to Harry’s One Direction.)

Harry and Matty grew up in neighbouring towns in Cheshire, less than 30 minutes apart. One a nepo baby who could not land a record deal for years, the other just a regular kid who went on a talent show and became one of the biggest stars on earth. The resentment is obvious. And they are so similar too, build, tattoos, background, accent it is hard not to miss. More on that Maylor/Haylor Storytime with too much info

We do not know Taylor, we really do not, but I keep thinking about how TTPD was mostly written in 2021/22, right as Harry/Taylor at Grammy’s before Matty worked with Jack. Harry/Olivia and Taylor/Joe ended within months of each other while Matty had a girlfriend.

Then she very publicly dates a guy with a lot in common with (and a mountain of resentment toward) Harry. And I mean so publicly, Matty and Taylor dated for 20 days, they were not even in the same country at the start. Like Jake, Matty has consistently said it was casual and they never discussed babies or marriage and his mum just recently said ‘you’re not allowed to say anything’. (Aka: NDA).

When she started dating Matty she had written TTPD and was seen at electric lady mixing it. We know parts were already recorded. The record that completely goes in on the person she has loved for a decade, “Mr. Steal My Girl,” when she had only known Matty for eight years and he said they didn’t date in 2014… but Haylor sure did. And she is known for being specific about numbers.

Anyway, in short, no I think little of the record is about Matty. I have write ups about TTPD songs here, Peter is my fav, but TTPD is my least fav of her records.

I always found it so funny for him to say during his award speech during the Grammys 2021 that Watermelon Sugar was written in Nashville knowing very well what the song is about and Nashville being Taylor's hometown, and in addition Taylor was just in front of him just there 😂

That night was a wild confirmation of a Haylor being alive at the cemetery never quite buried
