i'm always thinking about commander fox in dead space, and then wonder if anyone has ever written about cloning for organs in star wars. i know it's mentioned in some old eu stuff like one of the ttrpg books, but i imagine with the kaminoan's contract with the repbulic, and how advanced at cloning they are compared to other cloners, the idea was certainly tossed around.

they can make a fully grown man in ~10 years, what's to stop them from advertising that specifically for organ transplants? or biological prosthetics, as named on the ishimura.

but just a coruscant guard trooper experiencing the horror of standing guard during a small-scale meet between senator burtoni and possible beneficiaries as she talks about the many possibilities cloning can provide outside of an army, and how kamino is worth the long time investment. think of the health benefits, the lives that can be saved! all the while knowing that they'd be growing real people with thoughts and feelings for nothing more than organ harvesting. wondering if maybe that's already happened to some of your brothers.

most of the clones are emotionally stunted and bad at talking about their feelings but Fox is among the worst due to a lot of his speech being influenced by the types of politicians and criminals/prisoners he’s around, so whenever he tries, it comes out threatening. he would say, “i would hate for anything bad to happen to you…. so watch yourself….” with a completely dead expression and/or tone, and whoever he said that to is going to be checking over their shoulder for the rest of the day. he thinks he’s baring his heart to somebody and that somebody thinks he’s going to kill them and feed them to corridor ghouls (valid fear). thankfully this doesn’t happen that often because Fox would probably rather time travel to relive his life on Kamino before he’s vulnerable with anybody.

my number three advice as someone who's been on the internet since i was an unsupervised child? save everything you like, because it will be deleted.

there are many online resources, but the best will always be physical drives you own. the amount of times i've uploaded something to google drive or mega only to find it mysteriously deleted UGH. very annoying. (i almost lost the entire star wars helmet collection magazines because google got my ass, but haha! i had it saved on my star wars drive 😏)

i got tired of art i liked disappearing or stories i enjoyed being removed, and it's the artists' every right to delete those! i will just keep them privately forever ^^;

"okay, pictures are straight forward, what about fanfiction?" easy as pie. i personally use calibre and i recommend this guide for getting set up! i routinely download all the fics i enjoy, and back up my library incase my pc decides to explode.
