Hi just jumping in to say that at no point were they compared but it’s absolute erasure to think illness already demonstrated in MCU aren’t valid. As a diagnosed DID system, who also suffers other mental illnesses/neurodivergency, it’s incredibly rude to see someone dismissing other valid conditions, which surely make this post claiming Moon Knight’s DID is the “First” hero with a mental illness quite off base.
Nowhere in Crimson’s post does it say that DID or any of the PTSD/C-PTSD, and other trauma invalidate each other, nor is one more important. The DID is merely not the FIRST.
Don’t give us a bad image please.
MCU: Moon Knight is Marvel’s first superhero with mental health issues
Meanwhile, Wanda Maximoff: *accidentally enslaved an entire town full of people and created a fantasy world, husband, and children out of magic because she couldn’t process her trauma and grief*

I shared a post from this artist on fb to the spider group and had at least four people mistake them for real spiders. It was amazing.

Alrighty- let's talk about this-
Their startlements have a great many number of differences.
Tumblr media
Wolffe's shoulders move forward as he tenses up, his head even moving forward. He has also been caught off guard but in Wolffe's mind, an unexpected noise is dangerous and will bring harm. So he reacts, grip probably tightening around his blasters as he prepares to fight again. It's so obvious in his posture that he's expecting danger. He hunches forward expecting to take off running or making himself smaller to become a harder target. Even the clones that are cut off in the frame react in the same manner. The one on the right, his elbow stiffens, he's getting ready to shoot.
But in Plo's posture, he isn't readying his lightsaber. He stands tall and turns his head. He doesn't hunch or make himself smaller, he takes on a form of grace and knowing. With the expression of his face saying, 'oh, what is this?' He's curious and full of wonder. He doesn't immediately expect danger because his first thought isn't 'that noise is going to bring me harm.' He is a Jedi, he was raised with peace and love. He doesn't expect the galaxy to be cruel in the way his men do. He doesn't expect to be hurt as easily as his men do.
This is the difference between a Jedi, lover of the light, and a clone, patrons of war. War, that's what these boys learn. Their first instinct is to expect harm, to shoot and ask questions later. A galaxy of peace is foreign to them, for all they know is war. Their entire existence is for war. They are war and in war, the troopers know that closing their eyes means to become vulnerable to harm, not to dream peacefully. The troopers know that peace is not something they'll ever get to experience, for everywhere they go, they will bring war, and suffering.

It’s on Amazon. I’ve just started it but someone wrote one of Tumblr’s prompts into a novel.

The team from The Woolery (who are after my heart apparently) went ahead and performed an experiment on what would happen to these gorgeous-looking roving-as-yarn blankets.
Responses from people who have made these, off of r/knitting:
“It was a mess after about a month. Then she tried to wash it and it fell apart.”
“I have to agree with this video 100%! I bought over $500 worth of yarn off Etsy, but when I got it, it looked like a long string of the roving in your video. I hand knit a beautiful queen size blanket. And now it lives in my craft room, behind closed doors. So it doesn’t get destroyed. And because when I use it, the merino fibers tickle my nose. I guess I did something on my bucket list though.”
“Ooof. Wish I’d had this last summer. My aunt begged me knit her one of these and I obliged. $125 price tag even with coupon use and it just pulls right apart. I assumed it was something I could fix and went on and made one for myself. It’s super cozy but boy does it just look awful. Luckily I don’t have any pets to exacerbate this. But thank you for the explanation! I’m going to use this to talk my sister down from asking me for one. ;)”
“Yes! I had a rug made out of this stuff! It was cut like carpet, and looked so cute and cozy/chunky, but it shed like a large dog, and got filthy immediately.”
“I had hundreds of requests to make these. Every single time I said no and my explaination was “They are a prop, at most. They shed, you can’t wash them and it’s like trying to knit a blanket out of cotton candy. It would be a few hundred in just roving.” Most people were happy that I didn’t take their money…..My “competitor” immediately posted that she could make them. She made probably 250+ and sold them at craft shows and made to order for Christmas. $75-$450 each, based on size. By mid January, she was swamped with refund requests…. she didn’t tell anyone that the blankets would fall apart if you look at them. She ended up closing her Etsy/FB shops and noone can find her.”

I wasn’t like, I was gonna just let hogwarts houses die but apparently y’all be like,,, not knowing what a slytherin or hufflepuff is no shade and if all these quizzes are gonna ask you this question anyways: this is it. Idiot tested. Idiot approved
