Yuri Pattison Exhibition
Broadway Gallery, Near Now, OTOKA, & Queen Mary University
Privacy Tectonics exhibition series curated by Candice Jacobs
November - December 2022
One large flat screen TV was installed onto the framework using the same bespoke fittings to interface with the TV bracket and the scaffolding. This was a minimal installation which required the structure to be very precise and symmetrical to express the starkness of the work.

Forensic Architecture Exhibition
Broadway Gallery, Near Now, OTOKA, & Queen Mary University.
Privacy Tectonics exhibition series curated by Candice Jacobs
November - December 2022
We installed five flat screen TV’s onto the framework using the same bespoke fittings interfacing with the TV bracket and the scaffolding. Particular attention was paid to the curation of the screens and movement of people through the space. Our challenge was to maintain a clear route through while providing space around the work itself, whilst filling the gallery space. Screens were installed at various heights working with the disorienting nature of the subject matter.

Ben Grosser Exhibition
Broadway Gallery, Near Now, OTOKA, & Queen Mary University
Privacy Tectonics exhibition series curated by Candice Jacobs
November - December 2022
We installed three flat screen TV’s onto the framework. We made bespoke fittings to interface with the TV bracket and the scaffolding using a combination of reused materials and off-the-shelf components. We also had to pay particular attention to weighting the structure, using pre-cast concrete blocks insuring the structure’s sturdiness. A key detail for this project was the angle of the piece within the space, maintaining some impact without compromising the circulation.

The White Wall
Broadway Gallery, Near Now, Joey Holder, & 00 Zheng
September 2022
Following on the success of the Framework-for-Practice exhibition. We were given the challenge of creating a white wall for the Broadway Gallery. However the twist here was that we could not fix or alter the existing gallery surfaces, the structure had to be independent and free standing while being able to hold a significant load hung from the wall. This ended up serving three exhibitions within the gallery.

Framework for Practice Exhibition
Broadway Gallery & Near Now
August 2022
Framework-for-Practice originated in the Broadway Gallery facilitated by the Near Now fund. The framework modified the space to inspire sustainable creative research in Nottingham. It adapted over a long weekend in the summer of 2022 to host a series of events, with the aim of supporting early / mid creatives to generate new ideas and starting points to research. Broadway Gallery became a site for building knowledge, and for constructing new patterns of creative culture in Nottingham in a bid to re-imagine a more hopeful future for the city.
