An in-progress interactive dance work

Interactive dance performer: Seh Yun Kim Interactive music composition and programming: Andreas Bergsland

Presented November 28th 2021 at Konzertsaal 1, ZHdK, Zürich

Apart from the fixed intro (0 - 1:15) and the ending with simulated fire, the dancer has primary control of the sounds generated of the piece, through body worn sensors: 2 Myo armbands (EMG + intertial sensors) and 3 inertial sensors on arms and torso-front (NGIMU from X-IO). Some higher-level compositional parameters are pre-programmed.

Another (long) trip into spirograph playing Csound waveshaping. This time every tracking point has a different velocity to build the single curve in the duration of every figure. Made using a Lua script with IUP graphic library and Csound synthesis software.
