The social media shakeup
I dont generally use social media much outside using Instagram as a portfolio site. I stopped using Facebook in 2020, and have been posting my work in a grid format since it was announced they were scraping user content for their AI. I was going to invest more time in other platforms, like Tiktok, but that’s not an option. Currently using Patreon (FrankieMayGraphics) outside of that, but no personal social accounts. Overall, I miss what the internet was before social media.
I was a heavy Tumblr user between 2011-2017, and fell off after it was sold to Yahoo. Coming back to this platform feels different but I’m testing waters to find other ways of uploading art and more content.
I do illustration, graphic design, and animation. Big fan of plants and researching sustainable agriculture. Currently working in the WA State 🍃 industry (I-502).
