No one should be surprised that under Starmer the Labour Party is continuing cuts to benefits started by the Tory/Lib Dem coalition.
We've been calling labour out for years, join us to build a real left wing party.

Labour's series of U-turns on benefits shows that these cuts are unpopular and unnecessary.
Taxing the rich instead of pushing disabled people into poverty should always have been the plan.
But for Starmer and Reeves, the cruelty is the point.

The government has been quick to act on Palestine Action, as well as heavily policing protests of people who are concerned about Israel’s assault in Gaza.
No such action on the state being investigated for genocide and escalating instability in the region, however.

We support the decriminalisation of abortion.
Safe, regulated abortion is a human right, and nobody should face criminal charges for seeking one.

Devolution isn't enough if the other nations are punished for England making budget cuts.
Just one of many reasons why we all need independence.

The North could have built seven Crossrails with the £140bn of transport funding we missed out on over the last decade.
London gets £1,182.52 per head for transport, the North only gets £486.20. We feel every penny. Want to stop the nonsense? Join today

Solidarity to all Scousers missing out on Pride after the cancellation of Liverpool Pride.
The North has a decades long history of celebrating Pride in the face of hostility and that must continue.

For the last year, Labour have told us there’s no money to feed kids, support the disabled, or keep the elderly warm.
So where has the money for new submarines come from?

Reform will restrict the right to abortion. We fought for centuries for control over our bodies. We cannot give these rights up now.

After a record dry spring the North is facing droughts made worse by the negligence of private water companies.
Nationalise water companies now.

Today is International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.
When the UK has slipped from the best country in Europe for LGBTQ+ rights to 22nd place, it’s more important than ever to be united in this fight.
