“I have some emotional scarring but I do have some physical scars on some, you know, inappropriate areas.” Unable to hold a straight face, her lips curled upward before letting out another laugh. “Well if that’s the case,” she hummed while patting her lap to rid her outfit of wrinkles, “maybe I should cook you a proper meal?”

The last thing            he’d want to do is to offend Blue-- But then again, he            did want to win and eating her food wouldn’t exactly            be helping in that case. But his own smile quickly came           back hearing her soft laugh and he let out his own,            drenched in nerves at the sudden thought of having to           actually consume ANYTHING she eats. “Ahaha, yea!            Sounds good, really.. You should totally do it! For me            AND Green.” If he was going to have to do it to make            his friend happy, there was no way he wasn’t going to           drag in Green too.

     Her smirk tightened at the nervous laugh. Well, at the very least, he knew how to gauge the atmosphere. That alone was spoke numbers considering just how he was last they’ve met. "How generous.” She’d remarked, making her way inside.

     The very first thing she did was assess his home, letting out a quiet hum, before turning towards him almost expectantly. Tea, snacks, whatever else normal people did for guests, she was expecting.  

       Questions           ran through his mind rapidly. Why exactly had she been here?          Was there something to be done? Out of everything he could           have been, Red was mostly confused by the sudden visit from           the psychic, considering the last time they’d met hadn’t ended           the best. “Wouldn’t be very gentlemanly of me to have let you           outside, huh?” And he was more than just SURE she would have          teleported in anyway.

         Eyeing her somewhat suspiciously, the former champion cleared          his throat. Now what? “So, do you want something to.. Drink? Eat?          .. Whatever it is that you want?” Red hadn’t TECHNICALLY been           expecting guests, therefore nothing had been prepared. Didn’t           mean he wouldn’t.

“I…am allowed to play dirty tricks. Only me.” She corrected weakly, holding up her hand to give a light flick to the bill of his hat. Mei wouldn’t mind if he did throw in his own tricks. The point of these games were to have fun and make fun of the other players. If more challengers were thrown in, there would be more to laugh at—more to talk about in the future. But that was going to stop her from taking back her words she was sure she’d regret. “Within a month, you’ll avoid marshmallows like trainers avoid Zubats in a cave!” She assumed from the stories her grandmother told her. “But you can bet I’ll be the first in line in each. Making faces in the crowd to ruin your…?” Wait, did he say champion? “You’re the new champion of Unova?” That couldn’t be right.

          “Because that’s totally fair” Sarcasm dripped from his tongue but              not in a hostile way. No, it was quickly followed along by the seemingly             never dropped smile on his lips, widening slightly as she flicked the rim              of his signature hat.  The little discussion was enough to spark amusement             in him as ams crossed over his chest, eyebrow raised with the smirk still             tugging at his lips. WELL, she definitely knew how to have a good time              and it was not meant in an ironic sense. The growing sense that they would              become good friends had yet to fade away. He made a face at her comment.              “Yea, too many marshmallows at the same time? Not a good idea.” Just as             she was about to retort, the look of shock curved over her expression to              match the confused look on his. Unova? “Nah, not UNOVA. More like Kanto.”             He laughed. “Well, former champ, you could say but hey, still a champion.”

Blinking the daze           from his eyes, crimson hues looked up at the hatted           young man before glancing over at the counter. Jolting          up, he stretched slightly. “WOW, I should really start           sleeping at normal times.” He laughed light-heartedly.          “But thanks!”
