Gonna back this up. I am a college student that of course has to work and I rarely read full fanfics or oneshots because I just don’t have the time to do so and even am kinda daunted by them because guess what I read crap I don’t want to read all day so reading bigger things just is not enjoyable for me anymore and my attention drifts.

Don’t diss headcanon writers

what do u think of ppl who only write headcanons? are they even writers in the first place

i think y’all should stop invalidating writers when they don’t meet your “standards”. the definition of a writer doesn’t revolve around the number of words one can type down, and this stereotype of “you can’t pretend to be a writer if you can’t write at least x words” is absolutely stupid. some people simply enjoy writing short stuffs, some are just waiting to improve their english to do full fics, and some like the format of headcanons better. who are you to judge those people who spend so much of their spare time sitting in front of their laptop to provide contents for you to consume for free? isn’t it so cool to enjoy a variety of content from headcanons to lengthy fics? you should be thankful, really
