convention haul + rambling

it was my first time attending CosDay and i had such a great time. the size of the convention was just perfect, the entertainment offered was sooo rich, the location was nice and the general vibe and atmosphere was extremely relaxed. it was also my first time attending a convention in cosplay! i was cosplaying Eiden from Nu: Carnival and it very funny to see the horror on people’s faces when they recognized me (and my friend, who on the first day showed up as Rei)).

fun fact: the Eiden standee was privately sold to me on day two by a vendor who had recognized my cosplay on the first day! it was a piece of merch they had gotten a long time ago and really didn’t want anymore so they were happy to sell it to me (and i was very happy to buy it :3). i found the Aster standee by chance at the bring & buy which made me lowkey jump with joy. there were also an Edmond and a Blade standee but i didn’t have enough money to get all three of them. my friend ended up buying Edmond so we ultimately left Blade behind… a different friend of mine remarked how this was pretty much lore accurate and,, i’m so sorry blade……

obviously i had to show my little Eiden off oshikatsu style at the maid café…

(the namgyu bookmark, the two thangyu buttons and the two svsss buttons are by @/yayachanfuku on ig, the luo binghe and shen qingqiu stickers are by @/tante_kuka on ig; the wangxian buttons were pulled from blind bags) …. i might have to start an mxtx themed ita bag now….
