but why tf is scypher the ' haunted dancer', likeeee, is lagartia gonna fucking die ?? bcs as far as I know she has no reason to be haunted yet

reason why our little lizard might die (/general death flags):

hints about them getting possessed by a wraith

they were cannonically suicidal before geting turned and possibly (probably) still are

scypher saying she'd give scales a life after rehab no 'no matter the cost'

harriet saying she owes scales her literal life

Random PEN brainrot

Perhaps Fangs was dealing with some kind of depression before meeting Sascha, and masked it with that always calm demeanor.

Vampire stories tend to be melancholic, and thinking about how old Fangs is, and that they likely haven’t had a partner for a while, if ever, before, I could see it.

Would also explain why Fangs was willing to go out of their way to help Sascha, even before the whole situation with her bf(soon to be ex) came to light. Also why they fight so fiercely to defend her(see again, her ex)

This is just the brain dump of a woman who is way too sleep deprived, so take all with a grain of salt.

Let's not talk about the background it's complete last minute laziness💀😭

The colorful lighting comes from the etheral bc i hc that the sky is always a dark-ish color with strands and threads of colors magic that dances through it

I used an old-painting style bc i waned to try it and it fits them very well

Sasha's leg looks burnt💀 it's more bc i first sketched her wearing shorts but then painted over them so it's not looking too clean

My favourite thing in the whole painting is that cloth hanging from fangs' arm:)

just re-blogging this after finding the PEN and getting hooked.

Some PEN HC’s ( mostly the listeners )

• Lagartija DEFINITELY draws and they always carry a little sketchbook with them because they like to try and capture the beauty of something they see ( it’s mostly filled with sketches of the group doing stupid things though )

• BB LOVVVES digestive biscuits.. especially with their tea!

• Fangs is most definitely a neat freak. Along with being a perfectionist, they probably have all their books colour coordinated or from largest to smallest in size.

• Scypher tells her dad EVERYTHING. The drama. The tea. All of it.

• Lagartija misses their parents a lot so they just ask Scypher about hers for some sort of comfort.

• Lagartija and Scypher definitely exchange playlists to each other frequently.

• Sascha and Fangs give each other book recommendations after Mystery Night or when they’re just chilling on a Sunday.

• Whenever Lagartija is excited about something, they’re gonna tell Scypher about it first. Or vice versa

• BB loves cuddles. It’s pretty much mandatory for them, they can’t live without a cuddle, a hug, a hand-hold.. anything.

• BB is a huge softy when it comes to children, along with Lagartija.

• Fangs listens to podcasts when they’re walking around doing their every day activities.

• BB’s favourite movie genre is comedy.

• Lagartija’s favourite movie genre is comedy and romance. They used to enjoy horror films but stopped watching them ever since they got kidnapped by Harriet.

• Fangs LOVVVVEEEESSS MYSTERY. They also enjoy the occasional Dracula or Hotel Transylvania movie because it gives them a good chuckle.
