Awhile ago I had this idea, which back then I thought of it as 'amazing', truly not really, but it was a JJK fanfiction idea, one surrounding the ship of Yuuji and Megumi.

Basically the idea was that- Gojo never took Megumi and Tsumiki in, and so they were taken by the Zen'in clan, which only Megumi was able to escape from with no financial aid to his upbringing. He ends up having to live and make ot all on his own, working different jobs anyone around could offer to a little kid, all while trying to maintain school so he wouldn't fall behind. Considering how inhumanely the Zen'in treated women, Megumi was continuously forming a plan to save Tsumiki and along working to keep himself alive everyday, he'd store money aside, money that would later help him financially when he'd take Tsumiki back from the Zen'in. Years moving on, he is given a job by the clan, one which if he succeeds in carrying through with it, that would make up for everything, enough to have Tsumiki given back to him. So naturally, Megumi takes it, the job being: to assassinate Itadori Yuuji, who is a threat to society, by being the carrier of Ryomen Sukuna.

isagi is such a healthy partner. like, he takes it so seriously. i know he might be a bit of a beige flag from an outsider's perspective bc a) he's very focused on soccer and b) he values his parents' opinions a lot but. man. once he falls in love with you, he is for you. ride or die, come hell or high water — he'd never have to choose between his career, family, or you because the answer's already been determined: it's you or nothing at all

yes, he has ambitions. yes, he is a filial son. and for the longest time that was all he ever was. as an adult, he's a career-oriented pro athlete that willingly takes care of and makes time for his parents, which leaves him very little time for as active of a social life as some of his other friends have. and he was fine with it. he was content with that sort of lifestyle because it meant minimal distractions and more energy for the things that mattered most to him. he didn't feel like he was "missing out" like his friends would sometimes tease him about. didn't really see the point in flings or getting with someone he barely knows just for fun. isagi knows where he stands in the world and what he wants to do. he has all that he needs right now, so he's happy. soccer and his family; what else could he possibly want?

so his priorities shift. a gradual thing that starts from your first 'hello' and settles deep in his bones one night when he wakes up in the dark and feels you (skin on skin, an innocent warmth that soothes his senses like nothing else) wrapped around him. and the thing about isagi is that he loves in wholes, not halves. he loves soccer absolutely. he loves his parents wholly. and most importantly, he loves you completely. so his priorities shift to adapt

he's an adult now, with a flourishing career and an independence that he's been fostering since the end of the neo-egoist league a few years back. he will always be his parents' son and he will always belong on the soccer pitch; those are two of the most unshakeable truths of his life

but now, he's also just your yoichi. your very loving and dedicated boyfriend

your yoichi who'd mentally prepared himself to stand his ground during your first meeting with his parents just in case (just in case of the most horrible scenario ever) they disapprove of you. your yoichi who got teased to tomato redness by his parents when they noticed just how tense he'd been the whole night, too stuck in his own head to notice just how you've been able to mesh well with them so seamlessly it felt like you'd always been meant to find your way to them

("loosen up, yoichi, your parents are lovely. you were more nervous than me!" you laughed in the car on the drive back to your apartment. dinner at his parents' house had been lovely — you were lovely and perfect and he would've been able to appreciate that more if he hadn't been catastrophizing while picking at the greens in his bowl. but, well, he wouldn't be an overthinker if he didn't overthink now, would he?

he keeps both hands on the wheel and privately thanks the dimness of the night for covering the flush in his cheeks. "'course i was nervous. i've never had to talk back to my parents before, so i had to be prepared"

"talk back," you rolled the words around your tongue, tasting the awkwardness in them and finding amusement instead. "yoichi, did you think your parents wouldn't like me?"

"no" and it's the way he says it; soft and sure but still so relieved. "i knew they'd love you. know it, actually. kinda hard not to, babe. i just, well — i wanted to make sure that if something went wrong, i'd be able to step up and pick you without hesitation. i'm their son, but i'm also your partner, y/n."

the a/c hums quietly while he tries to find the words to continue, eyes going a little glassy now that the force of his relief and emotional tension have some room to rest. he's never had to hide his emotions with you, but his pink cheeks get a little pinker when he clears his throat. "i — you know my family's important to me, but i want you to know that my priorities will always have you at number one. i'm on your side, any day, no matter what. i just, uh, had to mentally... prepare myself earlier. yeah. i've never fought with my parents before, so..."

he ends his ramble a little lamely and cringes a little inside. he's never been the most suave or charming, and to be honest he isn't entirely sure how he ended up getting you to be his girlfriend in the first place. he's not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth though. a win is a win and yoichi is nothing but a grateful winner

silence settles between the two of you long enough to make him start sweating just a little. his thumbs trace lines on the wheel while he waits for you to say something. anything would be nice at this point. in fact, if you don't say anything in the next three seconds, he'll—

"hey, yoichi?"

your voice is soft and light. yoichi doesn't need to look at you to know you're smiling. the sound of your joy is one of the most familiar things in his world

he sighs, already accepting what you're gonna say next with all the grace of a man who knows he just said something his partner is gonna tease him for the foreseeable future. "... yeah?"

"you're so stupid. i love you"

"i love you too"

"you're such a crybaby. crybaby yoichi~"

If I'm being honest I have a feeling Isagi might turn into the Eren Yeager kind of main character, okay not EXACTLY like Eren, because the lore goes deeper and a whole lotta more complicated, something which cannot happen with Blue Lock's setting, but I do believe Blue Lock will give Isagi the Eren pro-antagonist sort of portrayal. After all, they both sold off their humanity just to achieve their goals, and I fear Isagi is on that path of destruction that Eren Yeager was.

Backstreet girl by d4vd is such a beautiful song, I somehow have fallen in love with it, and I just happened to have a random playlist on shuffle when I found it. It truly reminds me of the girl that despite all I've been through for her and because of her, I'll never move on, the way her words and smile still beam like sunlight in my memories, no matter the pain she has caused me, I doubt I'll ever lose the love I feel towards her. It's been five years, and I still haven't even gotten close to forgetting those feelings, even if my memory fails me to remember her forever, I will be buried with her in my heart, she's an irrevocable part of me. I'll always love her to the end of time, my very own sunlight, and just like Icarus, I'll seek her warmth even if it turns to a scorching heat. Love you J <3

the idea of megumi trying to make yuuji jealous but that boy just does NOT get it

megumi telling yuuji he can't hang out because he's "going out" but yuuji just shrugs like alright man

megumi making nobara dress like a man so he can take a fake soft launch picture for his instagram story and yuuji swipes up and asks where the guy got his sweatshirt because it's super cool (it's yuuji's sweatshirt that he let megumi borrow once)

megumi "accidentally" sending flirty texts to yuuji but yuuji just says no worries and then asks if megumi wants to watch the human earthworm movies with him

megumi turning down seeing a movie with yuuji because he "already saw it with someone" and yuuji is just upset that he has to bribe nobara to go see it with him instead

megumi creating a close friends story that only has yuuji on it and posting romance song lyrics with captions like "thinking about him <3" or "reminds me of my one and only" but yuuji just tells him he has good music taste

finally megumi blows up and confesses and yuuji is like "dude, why didnt you just say so? i like you too, bro!" and megumi is verging on spontaneous combustion

I've been writing fanfic snippets for years now, though I've never truly posted them out in the open except like two works on wattpad which I haven't bothered to continue all that much. Since it's summer and I also am trying to get more into writing because it makes me feel alot happier, should I start writing small ideas and posting them here for people to notice them and enjoy them as much as I do with writing them?

If someone asks me what I love to do on my free time, I'd probably just reply with 'drawing' because it would be too awkward to explain to someone how much I love assembling photos of characters I find on pinterest and making little cutesy, aesthetic profile pictures with them!! >_<

okay, so you know how isagi is going to different countries to learn about soccer. sooo, he’s probably trying to learn a bunch of languages, cramming in as much studying as he can before his flight to barcelona, and i think it would be adorable.

imagine his cute, earnest expression as he glares at his phone, repeating sentences with his clumsy pronunciation, and grumbling when whatever app he’s using doesn’t approve. there isn’t much time before his trip, so he’s implementing his studying wherever he can, using casual sentences when you’re out, even if it’s a little embarrassing (he sounds more like a textbook than anything, but he’s learning, so you don’t tell him that). yoichi beams when he sees a certain object, excitedly telling you its word in whatever language he’s focusing on at the time. 

you’re always there to help him with his studies, acting as his practice partner and praising him each time he improves. and you can also whip him into shape if he ever gets lazy. yoichi argues that he can use the mikage translator earbuds, but you encourage him to study anyway, using a few underhanded tactics such as telling him being multilingual is very attractive.

that lights a small fire in him and encourages him to learn a few extra words. he decides to test different pet names and affectionate phrases in other languages, and though he’s a bit too nervous slipping them into your conversations, your heart warms knowing he’s more motivated to learn if it means he can find new ways to express his love.

yoichi’s favorite moment during his polyglot journey is when one of the pet names finally sticks and you stumble over your words, flustered and taken aback. at the same time, a satisfied grin slowly turned mischievous stretches over his face.
