i hope that #lexsquad member lavinia doe adds me to the squad ! the twenty one year old animal behavior major has been apart of the squad since october 2019 and seems to be the sylph of the group . lavi is a sophomore and seems to enjoy cheerleading but you can always find them at a squad party , too !

spent the first few years of her life in tropical waters , paid attention to only producing laughter and dipping toes in salty waters . a ebullient child she was , it’s something that followed her into her adult years .

her mother was a writer , and father a veterinarian . they dated right out of high school and spent their college years together . he purposed months after graduation .

they had lavinia’s older sister two years later , followed by lavi , and then three years later they had lavinia’s youngest sister . the girls were raised in a loving household , their mom having the privilege to work from home . and while their father did work long hours , the girls especially lavi always managed to visit him on his lunch break .

lavi’s love for animals is rooted from her father , spending a lot of her childhood running around the animal hospital caring and playing with the animals there . it was her favorite thing to do .

family time was always prioritized . they were the type of family to have family game nights , always ate dinner in the dinning room , spent sunday afternoons laying lazily on the couch watching disney movies . and with that , they were super close .

their parents marriage to them seemed happy , one of those things lavi always looked upon and hoped one day she’d share the love they did ..

lavi’s freshman year of high school , things changed . her mother got up one day and disappeared .. no note , no goodbye . nothing .

years and years went by , private investigators were hired but only brought back heart breaking news .. she was alive . she was fine . she just didn’t want to live that life anymore ... it left her dad trying to balance raising three girls , working , and mending his own broken heart . always wondering where he went wrong .

lavi was also heart broken , but decided quickly she would not let her destroy her , or at least admit it was destroying her . she carried on , held her head high , and did her best to glue her family back together .

going to lex was for two reasons , one she wanted so badly to carry out her passion for cheerleading but she also wanted space . a fresh start , and a chance to experience new things .

even as a child , lavi wanted to experience everything there was to experience . her heart and legs could never stay in one place .. they always say , curiosity killed the cat , and while lavi is very much still breathing she has earned herself a few broken bones and remaining scars from her adventures .

she has one of those contagious laughs , her dad use to call her sunshine because of how ebullient she was .

she talks too much , just ask her sisters .

she is affectionate , has a hard time keeping her hands to herself .

she’s playful , almost child like sometimes .

she loves being around people , loves building connections .

she can be careless and super impulsive .

vehement , has to remind herself she cannot drown for everyone .
