It was very important that they felt, honestly, like a power couple. I didn't think he should kiss her because, while he's earned her respect, she's earned his, he's earned her allegiance, and she's earned his, I don't know if he has earned that level of intimacy with her. There have been displays of intimacy, but it felt like they weren't there yet. And so I said, “What's a kiss but not a kiss?” [Laughs] I was like, “I’m sorry, I can't think of something.” And the actors came up with holding the lightsaber together, and as soon as that happened, Hanelle [Culpepper], the director of that episode, set up this gorgeous shot. I realized, I was like, “Oh my god, this is the end of Fight Club, and I'm obsessed!” The last line of that movie is, “You met me at a very strange time in my life.” [Laughs] It just didn't feel like we were quite there.”

“Oh, yeah! Again, they’re Sith. It's a different vibe. To me, it's gonna hit different because of their allegiance and who they are. So, yes, it is framed as romantic, but I do think, again, it's not gonna turn out great. I think if he's training her, “One to hold the power, one to crave it.” So they're starting off as equals, but what's gonna happen? Like in Romeo and Juliet, it's amazing because right at the beginning they're like, “Okay, these two die. Let's start the play.” As you're watching this incredible love story unfold, and it's one of the most beautifully iconic plays ever written, in the back of your mind, you're like, “This is not going to turn out well.”

I feel like so many problems people have with tv at the moment could be solved if we just went back to the good ole days of 20 episodes a season that’s just sixty percent filler and character development. Give the people what they want- less condensed story and more meaningless shenanigans

I just want to throw out there that I still don't think Qimir is a sith. At most he's Plagueis's acolyte and Plagueis is the apprentice.

One of my guy's first lines after his reveal is:

Sol: "What do you want?"

Qimir: "Freedom. The freedom to wield my power the way I like. "

And:

"Rules rules rules. If you never follow them, you never have to break them."

Does that sound like someone who wants to be a part of something that explicitly has rules and restrictions?

Alternatively: he was wearing his slutty dress and poncho underneath the disguise

It really went from the most romantic to the most comedic setup

They really invented the most romantic setup for Osha and Qimir on a pretty island that might as well be a private planet and then made Darth Plagueis their roommate

I like to see it as evidence of them being one and the same. Even though their paths diverged, they mirror each other because they share one soul

One of my favourite scenes in the last episode is Osha and Mae fighting. When the two are in sync, their each move mirroring each other I couldn't help but squeal.

You're reminded that they trained together and despite all these years they still remember.

Alternatively, you could think of it as despite the fact that their paths diverged, they still got similar training because Qimir was previously a Jedi.

Since the season is over, I wanted to once again throw out the link to my Qimir x Osha one shot where Osha joins Qimir in the tidepool!

Most of the dialogue of episode 6 is still in this steamy fic, but sometimes tweaked or rearranged to fit the sexier mood.

This is my first time writing fanfiction, but I'm open to continuing this story of writing more if people enjoy it (or I feel inspired).

No but the look of panic in qimir eyes when osha began to struggle with the helmet. Then him fighting against her newly awakened dark witch powers in order to save her. It's giving everything we wanted 🫦

I don't think he was irrationally evil or malicious at all. As Vernestra says at the end, he was a good person who did a terrible thing. He was wrong to double down on it, but he never did it out of evil. He was biased in thinking the witches were going to harm the girls, but that also doesn't wipe away the good things he's done.

He's a complex character. And we LIKE that! It's great to see a character who is morally good make bad decisions and be hurt by the consequences, just like we sometimes see morally "evil" people do things that have good effects.

I feel like if Sol was actually that irrationally evil in doubling down on his murders of an entire coven for the sake of his love for one child then he would've done everything to manipulate Osha into never leaving the Order.

why would you write him as having genuine love and care for Osha that he respects her decision to leave the Order and let her go even if it hurts him.
