NEUROSIS Announce European Live Shows This Summer

....and so our first News comes with some Live shows in Europe this summer! Some firsts here, including Croatia and Greece.

Here is the complete run-down of Neurosis' European live shows: June 28th - GRASPOP Festival, Bessel, Belgium 

June 29th - Tuska Open Air Metal Festival, Helsinki, Finland

June 30th – Schlachthof, Wiesbaden, Germany

Crawling back in....

As you may know I've been a bit absent as of late. Life moves pretty quickly and some things can get washed away in the tide. Projects, Relationships etc have taken centrefold over the last few months and I've realised that I've ignored this blog completely. 

Although it may not seem like it, I feel an incredible amount of guilt that I have not been supporting, promoting and posting about Neurosis over the last few months, here on Tumblr.

So, I've decided to take another swing at it. A Full swing that is. Home run kinda swing.

Expect frequent News and Updates on Neurosis (as I get them) and maybe a few special things here and there. I'll see what I can dig up!

Visuals have always played a huge part in Neurosis' career, and Josh Graham helped them develop an enthralling visual presentation that has been rarely found elsewhere. From the videos to the artwork, Josh has captured what Neurosis truly are. Although he has left the band, this page will continue to follow his work and provide support whenever we can. Josh Graham parts ways with Neurosis.

Statement from the band : As of today, after much thought and discussion, visual projections as we have presented them over the last 20 years will no longer be part of Neurosis live shows. We are going to begin the process of reinventing our live presentation. This process will begin at zero, allowing the music to speak for itself and lead us where it may. Whatever form or however long this may take is unknown. This also signals a parting of the ways with our visual artist of the last twelve years, Josh Graham. Josh’s tireless work and talent came at a time when we really needed it and carried us gracefully into the video age with original content we couldn’t have dreamed of when we were just starting out. Our parting comes from a place of mutual respect, friendship and understanding. We all agree that this is a step Neurosis has to take and are open to working together on specific projects in the future. We wish him success and the best of luck with all of his own musical endeavors and artistic passions.
