Seduced Into Hydra: Steve Rogers, Manipulation, Seduction, Seduction to the Dark Side, Hydra Steve Rogers
After he thaws, Steve falls into the hands of a Hydra agent. Who decides a long term honeypot is the best way to deal with Captain America.
Heil Captain Hydra.
(Note from mod Jyn: I have used Brock Rumlow in the gif because when I think of a Hydra honeypot, of course I'm gonna think of my favorite scrunkly douchebag, but the prompt did not specify even a gender, so feel free to use whosoever you choose when filling!)

Another headcanon I saw was Hydra letting Bucky's hair go so it was easier to pull

So
I just really like the idea that one of the ways Hydra got Bucky to really focus/obey/etc, a specific handler or team, was to completely encompass him in it.
Like, super soldier, super senses. So they overwhelmed him
Hydra would narrow Bucky's world down to whoever he needed to really listen to, usually when they wanted to really lock in a specific handler or team for a long time.
And that's all he'd get.
For maybe days. Weeks.
All he sees is them. All he hears is them. All he tastes and smells and feels is them.
And after a while, he's completely keyed into that.
Like putting blinders on a horse.
Like obedience training a dog.
Focus on me. Just me.
Ignore everything else.
And because I'm who I am, lately, I've jusy really been into Brock/Bucky, and I like to add Rollins to that just because why the hell not?
I've read some great fics where all kinds of things happen that end up having Brock, Bucky, and Rollins reunite.
Maybe they accidentally run into each other in one of the shadier parts of the world. Maybe they set out looking for each other to kill each other. Maybe they go looking for their soldier or maybe their soldier comes looking for them.
So they make themselves everywhere and everything to him. He won't be able to get a clean breath of air without inhaling them.
He won't be able to focus on anything else.
So when they find him and start doing that, Bucky knows exactly what they're doing. And he knows something is going to give.
Him. It was going to be him because he was always the one who gave in.
Pinned against the floor on his back, a hand around his throat and fingers in his mouth. The lights above him are blinding and all he can see is them leaning over him, dark from the shadows and blurry from way his eyes are watering because this can't be fucking happening.
They go back and forth saying the trigger words. One of them goes through the list, and then the other one does it, and they do that over and over and over.
Orders and coaxing, familiar words between the trigger words.
They're all he can hear. They're loud and constant, and he can't even begin to focus on anything but them.
The words aren't suppose to work anymore, but he's got two past handlers saying them, over and over, suppressing everything else in the world so they're all he can focus on.
He wasn't suppose to be put in a situation again. Focusing on other things was part of what made helped him get over the trigger words and conditioning.
They're everywhere though.
He can smell the sweat on them and the other scents that cling to them. Laundry detergent, foods, soaps, etc.
They're all he can taste, the gun oil on the fingers is his mouth is familiar and he can tell himself all he wants that his mouth is watering because he's trying not to get sick but they all three know that's not true.
The hand on his throat is familiar, the calluses and the grip. There's also a hand in his hair, fisted as much as it can be in his shorter hair, and pulled taunt so he bares his throat more.
He can feel it.
He's slipping.
He's slowing down, not fighting them as much.
He'd originally pulled his legs up to kick at them but he'd stop that a few minutes ago, haltingly sliding them out until they were flat on the floor.
He stops fighting them.
Let's them press their fingers in further and runs his tongue over and between them because he remembers what they like.
The panic is receeding and his pulse is slowing.
The grip on his throat gets softer, and the hand in his hair starts petting him.
They're still saying the words.
Over and over and over.
They're relentless.
The hands he had on them, one wrapped around the wrist of the hand in his mouth from where he'd tried to tug it away and one tangled in the tshirt of the other one, loosens and it's more like he's clinging. Like he's scared they're going to pull away, and he doesn't want them to.
The fingers leave his mouth, and he takes the first full breath since he'd stumbled into them, Rumlow and Rollins.
The shock and fear at both of them because he might have been able to handle one of them, but both?
He's honest enough to admit that there was only one way this was going to go. It was over as soon at they got their hands on him.
His head is fuzzy, and he feels like it's minutes between each blink, his eyes unfocused.
He keeps losing his train of thought. Manages to grasp it just long enough for them to restart the words and scatter his thoughts again.
It's getting harder and harder to think.
He'd been doing something... What had he been doing?
What...
What was happening?
The words start again, and they're all he can hear. Each one sounds like a brick sliding into place.
As soon as the last one is said, it goes quiet for the first time in what feels like years.
He's exhausted. He blinks up at the lights, eyes half lidded, tired from fighting.... something. What had he been fighting?
The hand on his throat shifts slightly, and he sighs, sinking back against the ground as whatever stress he held in his body dissipated.
His handlers were here. They'd take care of it. He didn't need to think about it anymore.

Shout out to characters who want to be used. Shout out to characters who are so desperate to be worth something that they'll endure anything. Shout out to characters who build their entire self worth around being useful, being a tool. Shout out to characters who don't care how they are treated, as long as someone pays them any attention at all

We love defiant whumpees getting muzzled, but what about broken and conditioned whumpees getting muzzled
Knowing that they don't need to be treated like a rabid animal, and yet whumper insists on it
Knowing that no matter what happens, they wouldn't dare resist or get violent, yet being treated no differently
And both people know this. There's no reason to keep whumpee restrained, none at all
Except to remind them of their utter helplessness
