tylers betrayal must have been such an ego death for wednesday. she let him get close, made herself vulnerable and then it turns she was a just a tool in a villainous plan (that she discovered in the last stages by a complete accident). she looks like a fucking idiot. a naive, lovestruck teenage girl. the humiliation. and the worst thing is that tyler (and to an extent others too) knows exactly how much he has won. she agreed to go to the dance with him, let herself be taken out on dates, went out of her way just to kiss him. like she is not coming back from any of that. 💀💀💀💀

Nah..the more I think about it..When that fan asked Did Tyler really love Wednesday and he replied with he didn't know who she was when they first met..and proceeded to follow that up (or so I Heard) with you'll see how he looks at her when she visits him in Willowhill.

IS AN INSANE REPLY TO THAT QUESTION.

If Weyler had NO SHOT in Season 2 of Wednesday (Which they already filmed by the time this question was asked) he could've just said something like.

"He was under control."

"He has a bad past."

Literally anything.

But NOOO he chose to say what he did.

Meaning he still thinks there's a shot!!

So... Willowhill and the Stalker are connected. And they refer to themselves as "we", a group of people.

To be honest, my theories are pretty much fully formed, but I really want to assess this from an unbiased point of view. Otherwise, my disappointment might give me severe headaches lol.

A group of nefarious people at Willowhill might imply two things, and one of them seems far more plausible in terms of plot continuity:

1. There’s a group of evil individuals in WH.

This plotline could work, but it would need careful execution. For example, Dr. Fairburn is described as an expert psychiatrist, qualified in outcast mental health. Assuming her intentions are good and she genuinely wants to help Tyler, she would likely be oblivious to Willowhill’s dark side. On the other hand, Heather Matarazzo’s sycophantic character definitely won’t get along with Wednesday. Maybe she’s another red herring, but it does seem like she might be a member of the same group as the Stalker.

2. The institution itself is corrupt.

Assuming Tyler will serve as this season’s Hannibal Lecter (perhaps even the Red Death or Phantom of the Opera), he would probably already know Willowhill can’t be trusted. That mysterious broadcast channel message clearly points Wednesday toward Willowhill, it even feels like a trap.

Her first suspect might be Tyler, but logically, she should know he’s in a secluded facility and couldn't possibly threaten her from his cell. Still, since she’s expected to be wary of him, she won’t dismiss the idea entirely.

Even so, I doubt her first move would be to visit Tyler. She’d probably go to Donovan first.

We know Wednesday visits the Galpin house, and from the latest trailer, we see that she finds either a corpse or a homeless man. I lean toward the latter. Donovan being dead doesn’t make sense. Jamie McShane wouldn’t return to the show just to appear as a corpse.

Also, let’s be real: season 3 has already been confirmed, and whether people want to admit it or not, Hunter Doohan is one of the main leads. For whatever reason-plot convenience or popularity-he’s not promoted as heavily as Emma, but if he were just a villain, he wouldn’t have been confirmed for season 3 so soon. Every season introduces a new antagonist. If Tyler's story were done, they could have just killed him off. But they didn’t. We’re not doing this again, and I refuse to be angry again.

Anyway, Donovan will likely direct Wednesday to Tyler. Maybe she’ll accuse Tyler at first, but she’ll eventually realize he can’t be the Stalker. Still, he might have crucial information about them.

As much as I’d love to see Wednesday as Tyler’s master, I don’t think the show will go that route. That theory was wildly popular—based on that old Tudum-exclusive video—and even the cast was aware of it. They seemed to find it interesting, but for some reason, G&M prefer to keep everything wrapped in mystery. It would be too on-the-nose to reveal something like that at the beginning of the season.

That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s revealed at the end that Wednesday was Tyler’s master all along.

I really don’t want Tyler to have another evil master. It would be repetitive. Whether Wednesday gets him out of that hellhole herself or he escapes on his own (which seems less likely), this needs to happen before he’s used again.

There’s always a slight chance that a part of those (debunked) leaks were right and he ends up with a new master, but maybe Wednesday, with Bianca’s help, keeps him in check. That way, we’d get to witness Tyler’s internal struggle.

Oh, and we have Bianca: another major cast member who hasn’t been properly promoted in the trailers or IG posts. G&M said we’ll follow her storyline while Wednesday is away. I’m pretty sure she’ll be dealing with her mother’s cult, and somehow, that’ll bring her back into Wednesday’s orbit. Since Wednesday is busy with her stalker and Willowhill, the theory @thelovelybookworm and I had about a connection between MS and WH still stands. You can read it from here.

As for Enid, she’ll likely be involved with her pack. I won’t cast aspersions on them since we know next to nothing yet. She’ll probably try to fit in while dealing with a love triangle. It also makes sense that Wednesday wouldn’t share her visions with Enid, she wouldn’t want to agitate her right from the beginning. And I still think Wednesday prefers to investigate alone.

This might lead to an argument between them. Enid could get angry at Wednesday’s lack of support and secretive nature. But eventually, Wednesday will have to talk to her. The school will be in panic mode, and she can’t hide the fact that there’s a stalker roaming the corridors.

Now, about Slurp. There are some wild theories out there, some say he might be Morticia’s grandfather, referring to the old ‘60s sitcom where a “Grandpa Slurp” is mentioned. I doubt this will be more than a mild Easter egg.

The theory that he’s a spirit who possesses a teenager’s body just to haunt the Addams women feels like a massive stretch. That would even require changing him to Morticia’s father.

Plus, Isac Ordóñez said Slurp's in heavy prosthetics at the start of the season, and from that, I assume we’ll eventually see him without them. It would've been more logical to cast an adult than a young actor.

As for Morticia’s black tears; since Wednesday’s psychic glitches started with Goody’s book, and now we know the Stalker’s intent isn’t to cast a generational curse on the Addams family, it seems Morticia may have tried similar practices with that book.

Her line “I won’t let history repeat itself” sounds suspicious. Maybe she lost someone the same way Wednesday fears losing Enid.

And I’m sorry (not really) if this sounds like the same theory over and over, but the most likely person is still Francoise.

If they want to carry Tyler’s arc into season 3 and keep it tethered to Wednesday’s (because yes, they are tethered, and they have unfinished business, some people need to cope with this little info), then they need a strong emotional driver behind Tyler’s motives.

If Donovan’s only a guest star (and it seems he is), he probably won’t make it into season 3. Unless the plan is for Tyler to go full villain while Wednesday tries to stop him, which would be a bizarre choice. A nemesis situationship might be fun to watch, but there are plenty of other characters to explore that kind of dynamic. For the whole show, it would only lead to a dead end.

Here's why that is important.

If Weyler's kiss was not important to the future plot of Wednesday or even Season 2.

Do you know how easy it would've been to recap Weyler's relationship without putting in the kiss??

We know he ends up betraying her after she thought they were friends.

But that's just it.

They WEREN'T just friends at the end.

Wednesday was full ready to commit to a relationship!

They included that kiss to remind the audience they were about to be in a relationship!!

Why is that important to Season 2?

Why does the audience need to remember the romantic aspect of Tyler's betrayal??

Because either that's going to be mentioned in Season 2.

OR

It's important for later seasons!

And since we know Hunter's coming back for season 3 already.

I would say it's important for both those reasons!!

Knowing that Wednesday has a fan club and is called the school savior, means one thing. Nobody is scared of her anymore. She hates it.

I want this exchange so badly in the show:

Random Nevermore student: Hey, Wednesday! 

Wednesday: If you ever want to speak to your love ones again, I suggest you never talk to me.

Random Nevermore student: Classic Wednesday! See you later!

She is losing her edge, and it’s driving her insane. 

For Tyler? It’s a complete different story. People will literally scream at the sight of him and run for lives. Does he hate it? No. Does it get annoying? Absolutely.

*Random Nevermore student bumps into Tyler, dropping their books. Tyler calmly picks them up.*

Tyler: Here you go.

Random Nevermore student: Thanks *Relazing who they’re talking to and immediately starts screaming, causing a full-blown panic*

*Chaos erupts. Students are screaming and running away. When the dust settles only Tyler and Wednesday remain.*

Thanks @darklinaforever @bibi-the-pooh @claimedcrossbows @fullofwoe5321 and everyone else who wrote about the parallels between Tyler and Phantom of the Opera.

II'm so inspired and have been up half of the night working on these pictures😄

I think if Tyler is at the ball in the show (then I'll be so happy!), he'll have a closed mask behind which you can't see his face, but I decided to use the classic one so that he'll be recognisable in the pictures.

I keep thinking about that ball scene (shocker). And I'm manifesting this into existence (as if there is a way to change it if they didn’t shoot any Weyler dance scene), BUT I'll carry you with me because we don't play about this.

1. In one of her interviews, Jenna said that there will be dance scenes. They already showed Morticia and Gomez's dance, but that one looked like their regular waltz sessions. They weren't at the ball. And since this is a freaking ball, eventually someone has to dance. Would they repeat Morticia and Gomez's dance and put the spotlight on them again? I doubt it. Wednesday is the main character. She has to dance.

2. Hunter's words and that Addams Family Sneak Peek. Why would they show a Weyler AND Morticia & Gomez dance scene right when Hunter said, "Season 2 has everything people loved about Season 1, we just kind of turned the dial up on everything"? THAT'S SUSPICIOUS.

3. Like our Weyler bestie @fullofwoe5321 said in her post, Grandmama claps at someone and shouts "Bravo!" and near her, Gomez kind of looks emotional but anxious? Wouldn't you be anxious if your daughter dances with your town's notorious serial killer/Hyde?

4. In Season 1, they showed Tyler's half-lit face and teased his split personality over and over again. (Not to mention the fact that in one of his recent interviews, Hunter said in Season 1 he felt like he was playing two different characters. Will I read into that? I WILL. This man knows what he is doing. I swear he keeps dropping small clues, and I think I need to gather them and make a post. Because I have so many theories!)

Okay, back to our main focus. It is such a shoe-in for him to wear Erik's mask.

5. It is just a theory, but WHAT IF Wednesday and Tyler dance like Morticia and Gomez in the '90s Addams Family movies? Throwing knives around? Subtly trying to maim each other because you know, they are supposedly hating each other? And of course, they will act like they don't want to waltz around, BUT Morticia or Grandmama probably will force Wednesday to dance with someone, AND Wednesday has to look out for Tyler. He can't be left alone!! AND WHO THREW THAT KNIFE AT THING? Who is going to have a strong beef with him? (Interesting how in the '90s movies, Morticia makes Gomez jealous by touching some random guy's face while dancing. @thelovelybookworm is your scenario becoming true? 👀 )

Just watch this scene and you'll understand what I mean.

6. Assuming that Tyler will break out before the Addams Ball (the ball should take place in Episode 4, just like last season's Episode 4), I am sure it will be full of surprises. Probably someone will literally die, but of what? We don't know yet lol.

THERE IS NO WAY HUNTER WASN'T AT THAT BALL. And I have my proof.

Bruno is Enid’s Mate.

All Werewolves have a destined Partner and when they see them for the first time, there’s an instant connection between them. Like they know how the other feels, think etc.

They also posses intuitive knowledge of what the other person would like or dislike.
