Jjust. My personal opinion simply because. I’ve been thinking, but. I think canon Updike would maybe possibly try to protect Gabe from Gwendolyn. But. That’s just my thoughtss.

Totally not asking for uh. Any important reason, haha, why would this be important? Haha,, ANYWAYS um. How do think canon Updike would treat Gabe? Do you think he’d dislike him, or do you think they’d get along? (You can answer this for any of the other characters in this AU and their canon counterpart, btw. I’m just. Specifically thinking Updick thoughts rn.)

maybe with time they’d be friends. I feel Gabe wouldn’t like Updike too much at first, considering how much Updike is like Gwendolyn. but I also feel like Updike would feel sympathy for Gabe, considering how they’re basically the same person in different situations.

so with time, I think they could get along. Gabe would always be a bit wary though, he doesn’t want to be captured
