An informal thoughts about Loss

There's something so curious about loss. That profound feeling never goes away You think after how many years it slowly goes away You'd think it's a slow-burn but no... it's an agonizing type of burning you realize you live in this reality now you live in this Universe of loss That whatever you do, say, hear, or act upon is and always will be a product of loss It's all so weird saying things or promising yourself that you will never be this or that person or you'll promise to the deceased you'll be okay or you'll say all this bullshit to make you act tough or to show that you're okay when you're clearly not you know it's bullshit but why do we say it?

Well I guess to ultimately appease the living because we'll always be people-pleasers and also lie to yourself that you're okay when it's all clearly not

I guess I have never encountered someone that said, "Hey, asshole! You left me permanently and guess what? I'm not okay. This is not cool. You're a fucking dick for doing this to me." And that ultimately answered the question of why in the 5 stages of grief, anger is not at the very top.

I projected my loss to curiosity because I can't regret and start to blame and point fingers Those things take effort and I'm not saying that this is also a breeze I'm just at the point in my life where I'm tired I can't regret or blame everything because I know I'll die doing it I also can't just wallow in my sadness all the time I find it all so taxing in this increasing age of mine
