im trying to participate in inktober bcuz some of my good artist friends are (good friends AND good artists haha) here is day #1 'gargoyle' and i took it in a raya direction because of course

also i feel like i rely too much on textured brushes so for a while i will just use the basic round brush so i can actually practice fundamentals

i kinda like the composition here! this is like one of the first environments i drew from scratch (just w a reference for the dragon/naga) and it was a lot of fun! most of my environments i base heavily off an existing reference bcuz that is how i get better i suppose.....

i have some environment-ey things that i do and insert a raya bcuz i pretty much always do at this point but its like?? not raya enough to be worth tagging it as such LOL i wasnt sure if i should post it here bcuz this is vaguely a raya-centered blog but i will just post it just under my own art tag if anybody is stalking me hehe hope u all enjoy

i struggle and hate the results when i draw people :( im still working on it i have so many fanart-ish things i wanna do but when i try i just feel like its not worthy yet and then i give up and shelve it for later so i do environments as comfort art haha but i am still working on people!!! eventually i will b okay with it....
