If Squid Game has taught us anything, it’s that subtitled movies are hard to follow when you’re constantly looking at your phone.

Happy Queerness and Transness to all - in particular fellow QTs of color. I hope this toolkit brings some healing an joy. ♥️🥰 deseó mucha felicidad a los que se identifican como queer y trans, especialmente las personas de color. Ojalá q esta herramienta les ayude a sentirse con mucho alivio y alegría. Sharing this work for all who follow - please feel free to share with anyone you’d like. Access to this toolkit and other toolkits are available at icrace.org. What an experience to work on this toolkit with fellow @icracelab member @radiamch and co-directors: @hyadames & @nychavezd. Thank you for the conversations, discussions, and space to question things that I leave unquestioned or am afraid to question in other spaces. 🙏🏽 Gracias a Radia, el Dr. Adames y Dra. Chávez por todo el apoyo y por tener conversaciones, discusiones, y por dejarme hacer preguntas q temo hacer en otros lugares. Los aprecio mucho! ♥️ #ICRaceLab #QTPOC #QueerandTrans #pride #toolkit https://www.instagram.com/p/CQwjAfpDBwV/?utm_medium=tumblr

There are many misleading narratives about Black people and culture in the media we consume. To address this, we’ve launched #WidenTheScreen, a platform that enables and advocates for the inclusion of Black creators across the advertising, film, and TV industries.

When you speak about “breaking stereotype” what you’re saying is that others are true representatives of said stereotype while this person isn’t. Remember the stereotype is that black ppl are subhuman deserving of all the injustices they’ve been subject to. That’s fucked up.

Yes what @ecrivainsolitaire said. Boycott will be counterproductive. The workers organizing need more time to organize and mobilize their fellow workers. Follow @amazoniansunited n @amazoniansunited_chicagoland on Twitter and fb to stay connected to the real workers organizing.
With the Amazon boycott coming up to show support for unionizing I’m curious. I’ve heard that you can mess with online stores by leaving things in your cart, but not buying them. Will this help more/the same/less as avoiding Amazon all together?
I honestly have no idea, but I’m all about sticking it to Amazon leadership without hurting its workers. Anybody have insight into this?
Also, here’s our position on unions (spoiler alert: we’re for ‘em!):
Are Unions Good or Bad?

Possums are great because depending on how you look at them, they’re either horrible things, or just soft fluffy dudes with love instead of brain cells (table below)
