Long rant post sorry

There are probably a million different posts that've put this infinitely more gracefully than I ever could but I felt the need to reiterate it here. The Kats dating and having partners- regardless of your opinion of said partners- is none of our concern. We have no right as eyekons to decide who is and isn't "worthy" of being with them. The amount of vitriol I've seen on Twitter and TT towards Megan and Daniela's supposed partners is absolutely insane and unacceptable. Both the Kats and anyone who they opt to date are human and are accordingly deserving of respect (can't believe that needs to be said to some people still). Threats of harm and other forms of harassment will never be warranted to someone for simply loving who they love. Still, for some on Twitter and TT, this is a foreign concept.

Tangentially, there have been an uptick of quite biphobic comments- especially towards Megan- under posts with her and Jonah. I cannot state this enough: A BESEXUAL PERSON DATING SOMEONE NOT OF THEIR SAME GENDER DOES NOT ERASE THEIR QUEERNESS. Megan is still a queer woman no matter the gender of her partners. The same goes for Lara too. (Sometimes I wonder if people who get all in a rut over this know what the prefix "bi" means"). For any bi eyekons reading this: you're valid as hell !!! No matter what. Anyone who says otherwise is an idiot. There's always a space for you, even if it doesn't feel like it always. :) Here's a doodle I did back in June for you:

This really isn't related to the other two paragraphs but I still wanted to mention it. Please pay no attention to the blinks on Twitter coming after Sophia for liking a post that "shades" Blackpink. Trust me when I say this: toxic blinks will start shit with anything that moves for simply the thrill of it. They're kind of known for that. The block feature is a wonderful thing- use it more.

Just came up here to clear something up.

So a ton of eyekons have been complaining that Manon is always missing important events because she's "sick".. and while that's not true because she was there at their lollapalooza event and she's been there for multiple events, that's not the point of the post.

Now correct me I'm wrong, lets rewind a bit, we all know that Manon has said it herself that she has a weak immune system, right? Right. Now let's rewind to dream academy, remember when Manon was sick with Covid? Yeah, yeah... Do we know that covid is more dangerous for immunocompromised people like Manon? If you don't, now you do.

Do you also know that even after recovering from covid there are long term effects? Some people lose their sense of smell and taste, some people become permanently disabled and some people's immune system are weakened.

So now let's put two and two together. She had a weak immune system before. She got covid. What do you think will happen? Her immune system WILL GET WEAKER. And don't you think that with the constant work the girls do, it's bound to affect their health even more?

I want to say all six girls are amazing. Manon's my bias and everytime she's on stage, she kills it, but I rather have her recovering from sickness than performing and something terrible happening to her on stage. And the girls always keep space for Manon when performing which is why I will always stan Katseye. Dream academy was a mess, but Katseye, Sophie, Dani, Megan Yoonchae, Lara and Manon all care about each other and they are going to be a group as long as Katseye lasts. So instead of calling Manon lazy for falling ill WHICH IS NOT HER FAULT, let's pray she recovers quickly.
