Vampire Phil vs Extreme Introvert Techno. Cue series of hijinks where techno is immune to vampires bc awkward nerd. Phil has hospitality rules and can’t break in so at first he just tries to ambush. Only. Techno never leaves. Like ever. Hmm next plan. Phil trying to find a way to get invited into technos house. Except uh oh he’s too nervous to ever answer the doorbell. Can’t thrall while techno avoids eye contact. No charms cause aroace. Doesn’t take phone calls. It’s INFURIATING. Phil trying at Halloween bc surely techno will at least answer the doorbell. Techno slides candy through the mail slot. BUT he complimented Phil’s costume so that’s progress!

okay so the only time techno ever really leaves his house is to take floof on walks. Except floof is actually a werewolf Tommy and it’s ON SIGHT when he smells Phil so that doesn’t work either. were Tommy is basically an emotional support animal that makes sure techno is semi functional and not utterly vitamin d deficient. Barks when it’s time to take meds stuff like that. He’s very talented like that.

my favorite part about eragon is that he HATES killing. he is constantly trying to save lives at the detriment of his own self. he has panic attacks about going into battle, not because he’s scared and unskilled, but because he’s so good at killing that he knows there will be too much blood on his hands. he hesitates to heal a baby, not because he doesn’t want to do it, but because he thinks the baby deserves to have cleaner and less bloody hands heal her.

he’s just a teenager raised on a farm in a remote valley suddenly thrust into politics and war when all he wants is to fly with his best friend. he feels like its his duty to save everyone and everything. even enemies who have slain countless comrades have his compassion.

the thought of absorbing the life force of any living creature, dying or not, disgusts him. he has the weight of the entire continent on his shoulders and he still weeps at the loss of an ants life. he speaks to older people about this multiple times and all they ever say is that it’s gruesome but necessary. he’s just a boy with too much empathy in a world overflowing with violence that he feels responsible for.

I love Roxie's anger. She was hurt deeply and she's just fucking mad about it. Her response is to attack her ex with a katana and "fight about her feelings" and it fucking works. She gets through to her. The intensity of her anger showed her ex how badly she was hurt, and her ex felt bad, and she apologized. God, I wish that's how it worked in real life. Good for her, though. She's awesome.
