#see thats the thing#transness is so like. nebulous that the people who havent experienced it try so hard to pin it down#the trapped in the wrong body narrative is one experience#roles in sex and relationships and society are another#we understand that gender is fake yet we participate in it anyways. the only tangible thing about transness is where it intersects#with animalistic instinct. thats what hormones are for outside of keeping us alive#so if gender is based on sex which exists for instincts#then why are we trying to police how trans people interact with any one of those stages#for cis people its because they dont understand. thats fine#we can keep it simple for them#but we can also admit to ourselves that our reasons for transitioning arent always clean and palatable#i want to be a boy because its comfortable and feels right but also bc I wanna be a man who fucks other men#no amount of respectability politics is going to make that untrue
