Let me yap about Garroth's stutter for a second- this is sorta all over the place so sorry for that

So throughout mcd, Garroth has a little bit of a stutter that sometimes slips up when he's nervous.

Now stuttering is a speech impediment, not something that comes out of nowhere. But when nervous, it gets more frequent and notable.

One thing I like to point to is the side stories in the phase in-between mcd and mystreet.

What I want to point out here is how Garroth's nervousness shows, rather then being silent, he overexplains himself. And starts saying nonsense. His stutter is all over the place. And while his stutter is there in mcd, I can't find screenshots of his nerves being THIS obvious.

(Also what a guyfailure lol why did he suddenly start talking about cows. Garroth I know what you are (a fellow fan of cows))

Meaning that this might technically be an insight to mcd Garroth if he didn't try to be as serious and composed as he does in mcd? If more of his nerves would slip out?

This brings up something interesting, a sudden comparison I'd like to make. Despite them both being introverted and sorta 'stoic'. Aaron is notably much more silent then Garroth is. While Garroth is quite introverted in mcd, he still has walls of text when he speaks. He is still a yapper at heart. And so Garroth's awkwardness ends up with him overexplaining himself (or atleast for this to be his first instinct) whereas Aaron's awkwardness makes him go silent. Garroth actually starts suddenly speaking in caps sometimes out of nervousness while I'd like to imagine Aaron might start mumbling.

What if in mcd instead of being a man laurance was a woman and she was a lesbian and instead of the drama being that aphmau cant decide it could be aphmauthought she was straight so she always rejected laurance

but around the time of the werewolf wedding she realizes ‘maybe im not straight…’ then instead of it being “it wouldnt be fair to garroth if i got with laurance while he was in the irene dimension” it was “holy crap im bisexual what the hell?? Maybe im not bi maybe im just going insane”

a whole denial arc where her internalized homophobia is preventing her from committing to laurance

maybe laurance gets upset about the mixed signals aph is giving and theres ends up being an argument and they realize that this relationship wouldnt work because they keep getting into arguments over dumb things and aph doesnt understand her homosexual feelings so they mutually decide that this is not going to work and they stay friends

Maybe in this au aaron is a woman too (wait no that wouldn’t work they cant make babies… lets just say it was dome kind of fantasy magic miracle thing) and laurance gets (rightfully) upset because wtf?? Aphmau says she doesnt want laurance cuz shes a girl and she isnt ready for that kind of relationship but the moment aaron strolls in aphmau is all over her

Laurance understands that people can’t control their feelings and tries not to hold it against aph but she is still pissed

Like you can feel the resentment whenever she sees Alina because of how much she resembles aaron and she does her best not to treat her any different from aphs other kids because laurance knows its not Alina’s fault but she cant help disliking her

Okay this was a long ramble but can someone who writes fanfics make this au a reality i suck at writing

Maybe laurances name can be Lauryn or Laurena or something

Aarons can be Erin or Ariane or something

every few months this irenedamned fandom has a new discourse regarding a certain character which usually goes like this:

somebody posts an unusually aggressive negative confession about said character -> said character's stans frantically post pro-character confessions in defense of their fave -> said character's haters post EVEN MORE hatefessions in response to the defensive confessions -> said character's stans post EVEN MORE confessions defending their fave from new hatefessions -> repeat steps 3 and 4 periodically for a finite amount of time -> discourse eventually fizzles out after a few weeks or months & fandom moves on pretending like nothing ever happened

last year this happened with kim, right now it's happening with michi... in a few months, this dumb discourse will claim yet another victim. my personal prediction is katelyn LOL.

disabilities headcanons

now, i've written a lot of fanfic (not posted most of it) but i've written a lot.

and i got a few things to say. are they canon? no. are they going to ever be canon? no. can i do what i want to these characters bc they aren't real? yes, and i am going to.

Zane, sure. let's say his eye was fucked by a rock puncturing his eyeball. he can't see. he has no depth perception. also, he should have bruises on the side of his body he can't see out of. he runs into shit plus no depth perception. to add, he is also clearly autistic (coming from an autistic person) i can say with confidence he is.

not to mention his mental illnesses i've decided he has but this isn't about them.

plus after starlight he 100% has memory issues. short term or long term? pick your poison.

Garroth now, for it's different. i read a fic one MCD time a long time ago where his leg got stuck in an werewolf trap. to match i also read a fic where he was in a hospital with a jacked up leg. what i'm saying is him lossing his leg is something i've written a lot of oneshots about. him losing it in star light is what i tend to do the most but let's get past that little au and go to actual stuff.

Garroth has adhd. he took meds when he was younger thanks to garte but he stopped taking them when he got older. bad choice but it's now i see it. he does take them sometimes when he needs to get work done but not every day like he should.
