Cross Orb Weaver (Araneus diadematus)

Also called European Garden Spiders, despite finding this little guy in Northwestern United States! I’ve been seeing one of these cuties every three feet for the last few weeks; I feel like they’re bigger this season, but maybe it’s just because I’m keeping more of an eye out for them. Anyways, I absolutely love these guys, though I find them on my clothes concerningly often. For some reason, my phone camera is absolutely terrible at capturing these stunning spiders. This picture alone took maybe twenty tries. I’ve found that using a .5 zoom helps enormously!
