Space Marine: You two done? Can we get back to killing xenos?

Picked up the game again after the Ecclesiarchy class released, I still chuckled at this mission because it's so random.

Sir pilot isn't even in my retinue, just a random dude I met on a random world during a randon mission, whom I occasionally hire for his heavy artillery on legs. And he just flirt with my RT in open vox-link out of the blue.

Though I will say that piloting the knight feels awful. I keep yelling at my keyboard, "Turn around! Turn around! The Wraithknight is right behind you! TURN AROUND!"

With the Lex Imperialis DLC coming up and the announcement of the Dark Heresy game, @sylhorn created a fresh server for folks to hang out and talk about the game, its characters, and all of the wonderful fanwork everyone's created! We wanted it to be an open server for people to pop in and ask questions, share memes and works that they've created or enjoyed, and talk characters and their development! This server is also meant to be a supplement to tumblr interactions that we can share around for anyone who might want to join this type of space :)

While this server was created in response to some recent events in the Rogue Trader fandom, it is not an invitation to draw out any conflict. We wanted to make a space where everyone feels welcome to join and talk about the game! Please feel free to reblog and pass this around as well!

DLC IV - Processional of the Damned Coming:July - September 2026

One of my headcanons.

My grandfather was an aircraft captain, and my uncle was a flight navigator. He used to build model airplanes — big, detailed ones: military, civilian, even seaplanes.

When I was a child, I often played with them without asking, and he would get really upset if I broke something — usually the landing gear or the propellers.

And imagine this. RT has a Navy background — her father and uncle also served, or still serve, in the Navis Imperialis.

Abelard is reprimanding her for inappropriate behavior — she’s done something reckless again, not befitting her rank and status.

She looks at him and says, “Abelard, you’ve got the exact same face my uncle made when I broke his favorite Dictator-class cruiser model.”

And somewhere behind them, Ravor starts laughing — he heard the whole thing.
