For the Prisca Dungeon Quest

Ah, it’s me again! And like last time, I’m looking for players to party up with for the newest dungeon quest. Due to some certain stuff that happened during the last quest though, I’ll be picking only a few players to team up with now! I hope I don’t sound too rude. It was fun being with the players I was with last time, but it was also sorta sort of difficult to handle. So!

There’s going to be a few requirements, I guess! First of all, you should have this useless-looking, not shiny rock. I heard everyone who finished the mining cave quest would get it, so yeah, I guess you should have completed that quest before. I hope you guys didn’t fail it like we did. Second, it’s not actually a requirement, but I guess I’d prefer those who can actually fight? It’s a dungeon, so we’re definitely gonna going to fight lotsa lots of monsters. Maybe even a boss battle? Idk I don’t know, too, so let’s find out!

I’ll only be choosing one (maybe two) Swordsman, one (or two) Black Mage, one White Mage, and one Archer. I’d probably let another Thief in, but it depends, I guess. I really wouldn’t want to compete with someon [[scratches]] [[more scratches]] Maybe I’d let one Merchant in for supplies, but I doubt anyone would want to join! If there would be though, I’d be glad.

PS. Also, I’d like it if anyone has traveled to Prisca before. I have already, but I’m not familiar with the area, so it’d be great if there was someone who is! I really wouldn’t want to get lost in the desert.

PPS. To the players I teamed up with in the mining cave quest, I’ll be looking forward to seeing you guys, if ever you decide to party up with me again. No hard feelings though!

Quest submission

So there are three ways where we, the admins, can know that your character has finished a quest:

Draw a single pic (sketch is fine) about ur character doing the quest

Draw a comic (again sketch is fine)

Write a summary of how ur character have done the quest

as for parties, anyone from the party can submit one of those mentioned above as long as the members are listed in it (perhaps you can talk about it with the party members for who submits and I do hope you guys have fun rping the quests~). I don't care if the end result of the quest is success or failed as long as they do the quest I would still give the reward.

Regarding the reward, If you are a solo player I might submit it to your blog or simply make a post about it under a read more cut in this blog. As for party, I will create a post mentioning the people in the party along with the rewards.

Its either you submit it to this blog, mention gda-rpgau in the post or you can just tag it with #gda rpg au.

Fishing in the Desert Quest Summary

((sweats a lot omg is it a little too long or—))

After a rather stressing quest that took place in the mountains of Shria, Rocky was resting up back in Damor when she checked the bulletin board and saw that there was a new quest. It didn’t interest her at first— the quest took place in the dessert of Prisca, and she never really liked hot places. But what caught her eye was that the requester was a famous chef, and it involved food. Her eyes lit up, and she quickly decided to accept the quest. Wanting to rest from being in such a large group though, she decided to go solo for now.

She met up with the chef. Their meeting took a lot longer than expected— Rocky kept on eating in the restaurant, and the chef seemed to be amused at her due to her constant compliments over his cooking. They even conversed about things, mostly about the quest, but they also had small talk.

Rocky rented a camel for traveling purposes, and she soon left the town with the fishing rod and the special bait at hand. It was a tiring journey towards the west of the dessert, but she finally reached one of the oases. She rested for a few hours, before actually preparing for fishing out the monster-like fish and fight it.

When all things were ready, she was patiently waiting for the fish to fall for the bait. When it finally did after some time of waiting, it was a serious game of tug-of-war. In the end though, the fish won and it pulled the fishing rod into the water, leaving Rocky with empty hands.

Not wanting to go back empty-handed, she decided to improvise and use her knives instead. Tying pieces of thread at the end handle of the knives, she decided to use them by throwing them towards the fish while trying to lure it out to the surface of the water with the bait. After a few failed attempts, she eventually caught it and fished it out of the water.

It started fighting back though, and she had to throw a couple more knives in order to kill it. Once she placed it in her inventory, she noticed that the camel she had with her had run away, maybe because it got scared at the supposed fight. She had to walk back to the town.

It took her hours. She never really got dehydrated or anything, since her inventory was packed with food and drinks, most of them having regenerative and special abilities. She fought a couple of dessert monsters on the way though, and adding to the heat, it just exhausted her a lot.

She reported back to the chef, apologized for the missing fishing rod and multiple-stabbed fish, and then apologized and payed for the missing camel to the place where she borrowed it. She stayed in Prisca for the day to rest, before going with another caravan that was heading towards Callea.

yes all players have to have the gem, therefore should do the first quest.  it's like there's a barrier to the entrance and it only allows one person per gem to enter.  kinda like a ticket

oh but wait

do all the players participating in the third quest have to have finished the first quest?? bc what they need is one of the rewards right?? to enter the dungeon

does the dungeon entrance only need one gem or is it picky that it has to be one gem per person to enter

EDIT: Players have to fight a Boss Battle to get out of the dungeon and unlock the place. The boss is a huge skeleton king monster!
